I love Keen’s sandals, so when I wanted to get sturdy boots I thought I’d give these a try. I’m so glad I did. They fit perfect. True to size. Even with thick wool socks. The leather is sturdy and a gorgeous color. They’re almost whisper quiet too. The toe is roomy and the heel doesn’t slip.
No contest these are the best pair of work boots I've ever had, and I've had many. Reminds me of the very first Keen sneakers that were a little wider in the toe and narrower in the heel than they tend to be now. I love that. A nice snug fit that grips the heel and mid-foot, with ample toe room is exactly what I want. The fit is true to size for me, I'm a solid 9 across most shoes. Not much in the way of break in was required, just minor adjustments. I've worn them more than 8 hours a day on wet concrete floors since the day I got them. They are really comfortable, and not too heavy, all day long. I can't speak to the longevity, I've had them about three weeks, but they appear to be remarkably well made with nice thick reinforced (though supple) leather all around. Sure wish they could be resoled... But, I have a pair of Keen hiking boots that I've had for almost 10 years, so if these hold up for even half that long I'll call it a win.
Bought these in March and wanted to wait to review. I'm a CNC machinist and on my feet all day. These are by far the most comfortable and supportive boots I've found. I'd tried Ariat, Justin, Georgia, and Danner boots before buying these. I work a lot of OT and these have been the best by far. Also stands up to coolant and oil providing as good as grip as one can expect in my work environment. Big plus is the resilience of the sole against metal chips. Best purchase in awhile.
I did not order the wide. I just got a size 8 regular and they make my feet look huge. But it turns out, that’s exactly what I needed. They are very comfortable and get the job done. There is no arch support though. I put my own inserts in.
Really good comfortable boots. But I ordered a half size bigger to make sure they wouldn't be too small and I wish I wouldn't have. With thick socks they are still a bit too big. I still love them.
These were extremely comfortable, right out of the box. My legs usually ache after a long day, but not with these on my feet. I own twelve different pairs of boots, all of different brands. And, these have quickly become my favorite. I love everything about them; lightweight, comfortable, and stylish. Buy yourself a pair...... your feet will thank you for it.
The sole delaminated on less than a month.
