The KEEN Utility womens Flint 2 Mid Soft Toe Waterproof Work Boot stands out in the market for a variety of reasons. Primarily, it has been engineered with the needs of women in mind, providing not only a protective environment but also optimal comfort. The boots are built on a wider last, which many users appreciate as it reduces pressure points and enhances overall wearability.
As for the waterproof feature, the KEEN.DRY technology truly impresses. It effectively keeps water out while allowing moisture from sweat to escape, resulting in a drier experience when working in challenging weather conditions. Furthermore, the integration of a mesh liner adds an extra layer of breathability.
When it comes to safety, the asymmetrical soft toe design meets industry-specific standards while ensuring a less rigid fit than traditional steel or composite toes do. This makes them particularly suitable for those who perform light-duty tasks. The traction capability is noteworthy as well; the rubber outsoles offer exceptional grip on both wet and oily surfaces, reducing the risk of slips and falls.
However, it's essential to consider the potential drawbacks. Some users have reported that the soft toe protection may not be sufficient for more demanding roles requiring high-impact resistance. Additionally, the wider fit might not accommodate those with narrow feet comfortably.

The fact thay are waterproof and comfy like tennis shoes are what makes me coming back all the time.
Great work boots if you are on concrete all day! Holds up to all work environments. Great arch support and at the end of a long day my feet feel great!
They fit right
I love Keen boots and these are the best so far.
I work outdoors and have faithfully worn the Keen Targhee boots for years for their unbeatable instant comfort and support, but I’ve had to replace them every year after about eight months of use as the bottoms start to come apart. These are holding up much better. They are still super comfortable and much more sturdy. So grateful to found them. It’s hard to find a women’s boot that is comfortable and sturdy. It seems to be taken for granted that men need sturdy boots, but not women, Even though there are a lot of us that do hard work outdoors every day in all weather.
Purchased these before in the low cut breathable version. Love them and Wore those out. Got lots of use out of them. Bought this pair and they feel better than the last pair Comfortable. Cool. Wear well with thick or not thick socks
I love Keen shoes. These boots are super comfortable. I didn’t have to break them in. I love the way they look. I love the way they feel on my feet. I’ve had ankle surgery, so comfort is important. I feel they provide a great level of support when I’m riding a motorcycle or hiking with my dogs. They are work boots, but my use for them is hiking or riding. I have worn them all day and my feet did not hurt at the end of the day. They are a little expensive, but the comfort makes them worth it.
I very badly wanted to love these. I was thrilled to find Keens in a wide for women that actually came with some feminine color. The feminine color isn't worth the pain. The back drops very low to the point that no matter how tightly I tie them, my heel wants to slip a little. Even if my heel wasn't slipping, my ankle felt like it was wearing a backless dress while the top front and sides were cutting into my ankle very painfully. I compared to another pair of Keens I have on hand (Targhee II Mid height) and the padding is literally way harder than in those ones, hence the major difference in feel. It took almost no time to determine this after trying them on. I walked around my bed twice and sat in my computer chair for a half hour and if I'd have done any more than that, I'd have a blister. Really sucks but I guess that's part of the pink tax!
