I have to wear composite or steel toe shoes for my work and I work on a pavement surface 40 hours a week. I have worn Redwing shoes, and Puma. Both of those were so uncomfortable and made my feet HURT. These Keen shoes however, are so comfortable that I will wear them even when I am not working. I did buy a separate pair of cheap insoles for extra padding and my feet do not hurt at all! I’ve also had many pairs of Keen hiking shoes over the years. Keen is the best brand of shoes all around! The only negative, which I expected, is that they aren’t water proof. When it rains, my feet get soaked. But the mesh makes them very breathable in the summer. Probably not that warm in the winter though.Regarding size: I wear a 7.5 but when I buy Keen shoes, I always have to order an 8. The width is a perfect fit (I have narrow feet), very wide in the toe, which is nice for wearing thicker socks.
I work in a warehouse, I’ve been wearing these sneakers for a few weeks now. They are very comfortable and roomy where the toe protection is so I don’t feel it. I’m size 8 in Skechers so I ordered same size but they were big, 7.5 are perfect.
The shoes are great. They lightweight and they don't hurt my toes but the soles are not very comfortable. Other then needing more cushioning the shoes are great. I would definitely buy them again.
I can't say enough good things about these shoes. I'm on my feet all day long, no issues. Very comfortable, breathable shoes. No issues with slipping around on slick floors. Extremely sturdy, and not horribly unattractive for work shoes! Certainly not as lightweight as Crocs or imitations, but I feel much more secure that my feet are protected.
I would say that these are real KEEN shoes BUT I would say they are ones that didn't pass KEEN standards. Compared notes with a co-worker that has an identical pair. She bought hers from the KEEN website. I purchased here.First. They arrived in an amazon shoe box. Not a KEEN box. Which was a little weird. I've ordered KEENs off amazon before and they came in a KEEN box.Second, the eyelets that go around the holes for the shoe laces all were broken and sliding around on the shoelaces themselves. Each and every one of them.Third, the shoelaces are so flimsy I felt like I was going to break them while tying the shoes. I've never experienced this from any of my other 5 pairs of KEENs.Fourth, The steel toe seemed to press down pretty firmly on the top of my toes. It was so uncomfortable. Again, something I have never experienced from KEEN before.I promptly returned them. There is no way I would wear them. I now will go find the same ones on the actual KEEN website.
my second purchased , like this shoes. Lightweight and comfy
These shoes are very wide. The toe box generous. Tongue is not gussetted, so dirt does accumulate in the shoe. I work landscaping and would not buy these again.
