I soaked these in black clothing dye (in case they seem to appear darker in my picture than advertised, that is why) I put cushion inserts in the shoes (as I do with all my work shoes) so my saying they are comfortable may be due to the inserts. I haven't worn them without. I like the shoes. Seem to be of great quality. Kind of heavy, but I've had to wear steel toe for so long I've grown used to the weight. If the sight of them appeals to you, then I'm confident you will be happy with these shoes. They seem true to size and have held up well. I've had them for a year.
I love Keen work boots. I have short but wide feet and I love that Keen boots fit so well. They are very comfortable.
These boots get dirty fast, but worth every dollar I spent. I am a female Lineman and go through boots often. These feel amazing on my feet and it's been 2 months of everyday wear so far. Usually steel toe boots after awhile start to show on my baby toes...lol but These are wide enough that they do not look big and bulky but my toes are evenly spread with no pains after 8hrs. These are my first pair of Keen boots and hopefully they will keep making amazing boots like these.
It arrived super fast and intact. It was worth the wait.
Love them!
I wanted to love this boot as a boot, but it fits like a shoe. I love Keens and always support the brand as they always fit and are comfortable day one. This "boot" however has no ankle support. At the front of the shoe at the laces it fits like a boot, then at the ankle it tapers down at the back and wears like a shoe providing NO ankle support. The shoe is weighty, so ankle support is necessary. Saddened I have to return these.
Great boot. Good fit. Feels very protective. Takes a beating. Long lasting. I get a new pair every two years bc my employer will pay for it, but they last for longer. I save my older boots for hiking or dirty/muddy work.
I’ve worn Keen’s for many many years. Always a size 9.5, always! The steel toe work shoe was just not the right fit. Too short. Didn’t reorder another size because I don’t want to go thru the hassle and disappointment if the next size up doesn’t fit either. I’ll have to try them on in store if I can find them.
