Update!!! Im not exactly sure how long I've had these boots weeks maybe a month I loose track of time..... ANYWAYS, Ive gotten them broke in and the difference wow my feet hurt but its because Im on them all day Im an order puller in a warehouse so Im walking 10+ miles a day on an unforgiving cement floor. The stiff points on the tongues I sprayed a little rubbing alcohol mixed with water on them to help soften them. I also paired these boots with some keen insoles. I'll be buying these again well worth the money! This may be a little long and quite random but bare with me Im big excited over these boots!!!!I work in a warehouse and we were bought out by another company. This new company wants us in safety toe boots we can't have the tennis shoe safety toes they have to have a 6 inch rise. We were given a voucher to buy from another company that has an arrangement with our new one... ooook this was more than 6 months ago. I got some avengers..... NEVER AGAIN THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE BOOTS IVE EVER WORN. I had to go down a full shoe size for those to fit and they were tight on my toes no room for my toes to naturally spread they were entirely too narrow this is coming from someone with tiny feet... I've been hunting boots ever since. I found these got MY shoe size and they fit like a glove my toes have room to spread naturally.Per other reviews yes they are semi stiff and yes they do have spots that create sore spots give it time a week to two those spots will work themselves out. These are well made and comfortable. Per reviews talking about heaviness they are no more or less heavy than any other composite toe boot. Well worth the money. In a few weeks I'll come back and add some things as they get broke in.
I waited to write this review until I broke these in for a few months. They are fantastic work boots, I do tree work and they're perfect for what I need with the comp toe. My feet don't hurt after days of wearing them all day long. They are a bit heavy but you get used to it quickly. I sized up half a size, normally wear 6.5 and bought a 7 based on other reviews saying they run small, these do NOT run small, get your normal size, I wear thick work socks with these and they are still a little bigger than I'd like. If I got my normal size they'd be perfect. I also don't have any issues with rubbing, again I wear high work socks so it's not an issue.
I like the boots I purchased because they are fairly comfortable. I just find them to be a little heavy. I have definitely been in search of some new work boots and I think once I break them in the weight of the boots won’t be an issue. Hopefully.
I LOVE these boots. I am a bear specialist/technician and am out in the wilds with these animals day and night. I've worn Keen shoes and boots exclusively for many years.... these are my new favorites.
I do not use these boots in extreme conditions. I use them in a part-time maintenance job.Although the boots were very comfortable, they started falling apart after 2 months.
I am a ski lift mechanic. Constantly in water, mud, snow, and any machine fluid you can think of. Have only been wearing for a month, but so far I’m very happy with the purchase. Only thing that stinks, not the greatest on ice, it other than that, exactly what I was looking for.
Looks like good quality, comfortable, fits well but really heavy
After working 2 months,70+ hours a week in my other steel toe boots, these babies are like clouds on my feet.Light, composite toe, thick soles, ankle support and comfortable as all get out.I have been a keen lover for years, but never bought a pair of compose toe because of job requirements and these are the cream of the crop.Dear keen,Thank you for changing my, and my feets life.Sincerely, Jana A.24 year union bricklayer.
