I have a wide foot and these are the best fitting keens I’ve bought in the whole 15 years if me buying this brand. They are extremely sturdy and comfortable.
Very comfortable! Love the boots!
The Keen Flint 2 mid steel tip shoe is well made and is close to a true fit. I ordered extra wide but I thought the toes were snug although still comfortable. But my big negative is the weight of the boot. Way too heavy in my opinion. They will be returned.
I wear these to work every day. They take a beating. They are extremely comfortable and supportive as far as work shoes go. Great for demolition or construction. I rest 4x4 lumber on the steel toe while cutting with circular saw. I kick through drywall with these shoes. This is my second pair. First pair lasted two years maybe more. They would have lasted longer except the plastic loops that hold the shoelaces finally broke. But that's pretty good for the kind of beating they take. I use them on weekend hikes as well. Probably should get a pair without the steel to for hiking but I don't really notice. They are the most comfortable shoes I own!
These are excellent quality boots- all the Keen boots I’ve tried are, in my experience. Most fit me perfectly, but this pair felt just a little tight in the toe box, perhaps because of the steel cap. I’m going to try a wide/EE in my usual size, if I can find a store where I can try them on.
On my second set, first lasted about a year and a half doing flooring and mechanic work before showing quite a bit of damage with the sole and around the toe. new set is about 6 months old with no issues so far.
These boots would be nice, comfortable and good looking work boots, but they have a defective problem with the footbed. It feels like there is something in the boot, pull the insole out and the defect can be seen. This footbed defect was seen with not one but also replacement pair. I am returning them. Keen you need to step improve your quality control!
Myself and two other factory coworkers love these boots. Can't go wrong.
