These are really nice boots. It’s exactly the look I was hoping for. The overall quality is exceptional. The tanning of the leather is very well done. I purchased a wide width and the fit is true to size. They do need a little bit of breaking in, but there they are still comfortable. At just over $100, they are a great value.
These boots are so comfortable that it's hard to believe that these boots are workboots. They're more comfortable than my sneakers, with the added bonus of being waterproof and heavy duty construction. The heel is cradled very nicely and the rest of the footbed offers excellent cushioning. Even after being on my feet for 10 hours a day, my feet don't feel any worse in these boots than when I wear my New Balance sneakers. As other reviewers have noted, the boots tend to run large. I have slightly wide feet and wear 10 to 10.5 size shoes depending on the manufacturer. My go-to sneakers are size 10.5 New Balance due to their slightly wider and roomier construction in their midfoot. I ordered a size 10 wide in these boots since I find most shoes and boots to be just a bit too narrow for my feet. While the width was a perfect fit, the boot was just a tad too long and made me "clomp" around when walking. I returned them for a 9.5 wide and the fit is spot on.I didn't find any trouble getting my feet into the boots. From reading some of these reviews, I was a bit worried about getting these on my feet, especially given that I've ordered the shoes at a smaller size than what I normally wear. At first the opening seemed really tight and small, but once I got my toes in, it really wasn't all that difficult to put on these boots. The loops on both the tongue and the heel of the boot really help, and my feet slid in easily with a bit of pressure. As expected, without laces, the fit around the ankle is a bit loose, but the boots stay on pretty well. It also takes a bit of pressure to actually take the boot off, so there's no worries about the boots flying off my feet as I'm running or walking. The looseness around the ankle is a bit of a drawback, but worth the ease of putting these boots on and off my feet without having to deal with laces. The waterproofing works well. The leather does take on stains, but not a big deal if you're wearing these for work like I am. The boots break in quickly, and within a couple hours of wearing them for the first time, they felt like a pair of old boots I've had for years. The only complaint I have is that the soles of the boots squeak terribly on linoleum floors.Try them out. Just remember to size down a bit.
A little hard to get on at first but once they broke in they slide on with very little effort. They are nice and comfortable and seems durable
Not EZ to slip on and off.Tight at the top which is good to keep debris out but not for a slip on.They appear to be well built. Stitching does not go all the way through the sole - so partly sewn and partly glued.Wish they had black. That is my preference. These will show dirt well.Fit is just as advertised - good fit.Delivery was fast as promised.
These have been great work boots that checked all the boxes I was looking for. My criteria:1. Tough and reasonably waterproof. No complaints so far and they seem to be holding up.2. Comfortable. No complaints here either even on long days.3. Easy to get on and off quickly. At my job I switch between working outside in the mud and having to come inside people's nice homes. It may not matter to some but it's a must for me to kick them on and off effortlessly throughout the day and this design is great for that.4. Priced reasonably. No matter how nice or how dumpy a pair of boots I get, I don't reasonably expect a lifespan of more than a couple years doing what I do. Preferably not less either. Not a lifetime investment though either way, and these are priced well in accordance.5. Look cool. I hate having boots that are loaded down with all kinds of plastic, nylon, reflectors, etc. It looks cheap and silly and they honestly seem to wear apart faster having all those weird cracks and crevices for dirt and debris to work into. These are classic real leather and rubber. Zero complaints about the appearance, and they can be dusted off and dressed up with very little effort. All in all they're a big win for me, I will undoubtedly get them again.
Fine quality boots durable and comfortable. Tight at first fitting but true to size. Half an hour of walking in these and the fit is perfect and comfortable.
True to size fit. Nice leather. Comfortable on concrete.
This seems like a solid boot so far.Overall feels a little tighter and less comfortable than other boots of this style that I've owned in the past. That comes with the added benefit / tradeoff of a steel shank.Maybe these will break in more, currently I definitely do no feel that I can wear them all day comfortably.I would consider putting in an insert for added comfort, however these already feel like they border on too small for my feet (size 13), so I don't think that's a doable solution for me.The biggest issue I've had with these is they are very difficult to get on. They are kind of tight, while on, but getting them on feels right on the borderline of not being able to get them on at all. And that's with normal socks, I definitely wouldn't try to get these on with extra thick socks.I'm hoping that they loosen up in this regard too (I've only worn them for a bout a week of wear time). It is so tough to get on, that I am concerned for the longevity of the pull tabs. They seem like good quality, but if those break, I don't know if it will be possible to get these boots on.Overall they seem good quality for the price and I am hoping the break in and loosen up a bit over time.As it stands now, the flaws are minor enough that I'm just going to keep them and wear them for the next year or two. When I go to get a replacement boot however, I don't think I'd buy them again.
