I have been wearing these boots for just over 3 weeks at work for 9 to 12 hours a day and have zero complaints about them. Very comfortable!! I can’t say how they will hold up since I haven’t had them that long but they appear to be very well made. That being said, if they hold up, I will be purchasing them again when mine wear out.
Slip on shoes that are very difficult to get on your foot. When you finally pull hard enough to do so you'll notice the inside of the shoe tongue feels lumpy and hard on the top of your foot, the hard edge of the boot's opening rubs on the front of you leg at ankle height. There is very little cushion from the insoles, hard bottom. Everything about these boots hurt. If you were able to wear them for a full day you would certainly suffer from blisters, cuts, bruising, and generally sore feet. I sent these back the same night I tried them on. Unbelievable that they would try to pass these off as expensive quality work boots, absolute garbage.
Best met internal met guard shoe I have found.
Large loop front and back catches your pants leg so pants legs don't fall over the shoe; they tend to roll up and bunch on the loops. Reasonably comfortable and lighter than my previous boots. Only problem I have is my big toe rubs the edge of the steel toe. It's not intolerable and I'm hoping it gets better with more wear. Rather snug around the ankle but that seems to be getting better with wear. I bought the 11 EEE since I have a wide foot and the EEE width is plenty wide with room to spare. I'll probably invest in some better insoles at some point.
The shoe was awesome. My son said they were comfortable on the cement floor he has to work on, but they squeak every step. Not wanting to hurt my feelings, I’m sure, doesn’t want to send them back. (Birthday Present). So…I probably just spent $160 for nothing. I’m so mad.
I had been looking for a steel toe, triple E, size 13 work shoe which goes on easy and comes off easy all summer. The selection among many mail order catalogs which featured work shoes were deemed useless. This shoe took me all the way through harvest. It endured mud, oil, and cow manure and has kept its integrity as a solid work shoe. The shoe is also comfortable to wear and feels good to walk in. The only negative was the price, they were expensive, but to get quality I guess you have to pay up. I was also impressed by the delivery. I ordered them on Monday morning and got them the next day.Dan
I am retired now but i wore these same shoes at work. Will keep buying as they are comfortable and feet don't hurt wearing them
The boots were definitely hard to get on. The opening has elastic that is very stiff. I had to shove my foot in and they are hard to get. I actually cut the elastic for easy access. Also, the top front of the boots were rubbing my schin before I cut the elastic. Then, my pinky toes starting hurting during the first week, I am guessing because of the steel in them. I put bandaids on them for cushion. By Friday, my feet were hurting a lot, especially along the outer side of my feet. The only good thing is that there is plenty of vertical room for my full length inserts. I hope these actually break in at some point or else a big waste of money.
