These monk straps look incredible and they fit great even for wide feet. I knew these would have good movement because of the stretch they have but still i was pleasantly surprised I could slip my very wide flat feet in to them and wear them for a whole day, being active and even dancing for hours, without any pain or discomfort.

Great quality for the money!
They’re leather but the sole has a rubber heel that even after wearing them for a few months is squeaky on a solid stone or tile floor at work. It’s a little annoying
I really enjoyed the fit and finish of these shoes. I wore them at a wedding and they were VERY comfortable. did not dig into my Achilles tendon, nor did the tongue chafe the front of my ankle. I wore it for about 12 hours straight and they were NEW out of the box with no break-in done! these shoes follow the movement of your feet and tend NOT to dictate how you should walk <--- that sounds a little confusing, but what I am trying to say is that some shoe designs influence how you walk, while others like this Montinaro follow your natural walk.ill probably wear it for other events as well, since they were so comfortable.
These shoes are solidly made with good leather. You could see the detail and craftsmanship. I normally wear a size 12, but I found these just to be a tad big where I would probably need a 11.5. I am about 5'11" ft tall 178 lb. Nevertheless these are nice shoes.
