I have been wearing these semi-regularly (~3-5 times/week.) At first I was impressed by how comfortable they were and I still am. They are still in great shape as far as I can tell (but I am sure subtle signs of wear would be spotted by an expert.) The sole is rubber with a decent tread pattern. I'm not sure if that is typical for this type of shoe, it has more traction than other semi-formal shoes I have worn (especially in rain or snow.)My feet are wider than usual. I used the sizing chart, ordered the size indicated in "X-wide" and they fit great.
