I might be jumping the gun here, since this is the first day of wearing these, but I am excited by the comfort and look of these things. I was a little worried when I tried them on because it was all I could do to get them on (so stiff). Plus they seemed to hurt my ankles a bit. Well, here it is several hours into the first day, and I have to say, they feel good already! I've been strolling around the office at every opportunity and they get better every time! I figured it would take at least a week, especially since the ones they are replacing were about 25 years old, obviously pretty well molded to my feet. I am pretty easy on shoes, so hopefully won't have any of the wear issues others have mentioned. I hope I get 25 years out of these, because they look great.
I have been wearing Florsheim Lexington Wingtip for about 10 years (and I get two years out of them). The black are a classic design that I can wear from anything from a Tuxedo to slacks with a polo. Plus, the wingtip design requires less shining (because I am lazy). At this price point, they are a great value for a high quality shoe. There has been some historical minor variation in the quality. My previous pair did have the heal fall off, but I glued it back on without issue. But my most recent pair had a stronger heal secured by nails. The body is the same, but the laces are upgraded. I am so pleased. I typically wear a 10M, but I should have probably ordered a 9.5M because I think that they run a bit large.
Great looking good fit but toe box could be a little shorter
I love these shoes. They come polished well and the are easy to shine up. Wingtips are pretty much the standard in business attire and these shoes look excellent. For the going price of these shoes though I am a little upset that the sole is clearly plastic/rubber with a leather print. With that in mind I could not justify spending another $70 to get a leather bottomed wingtip. So far in wearing these shoes for around 10 days I have only suffered one crease I each shoe, and I have only had to polish the shoes once. They still look amazing.
First of all let me say that I read all the reviews and was prepared to roll the dice on what was going to be a reasonably inexpensive pair of shoes. I got what I expected in terms of how the product looked online.The leather sole which is pictured is not actually leather but Faux leather ( plastic material) from what I can gather. The shoes are buffed to quite a high shine (almost strangely shiny).They were uncomfortable as hell when i first tried on but having worn them around the house for a few hours in the evening for a week they are now actually pretty damn good and comfy .......all in all , i guess i am satisfied but the true test is would i buy them again.....????The answer is no.

These shoes arrived better than when I purchased in the store. Great quality and excellent shine. I was very impressed at how these shoes looked. Perfect for any important business meeting or formal event. I have been wearing this brand and type of shoes for over 15 years and this by far is the best that I have seen. They must have made some subtle improvements over the years and it definitely shows. Fit just like I had expected and were comfortable. Great price for what you get. Very professional and stylish at the same time. Will definitely buy again.
