I did change the laces simply because I do not like typical wax dress shoe laces, I prefer a flexible nylon style, but that's my preference not the an issue with Florsheim.COLORThey change color in lighting. Got these for doing my hospital rotations as a medical student. They were comfortable enough to wear all day while bouncing all over the hospital. They were also durable and still look great after a year of everyday wear (and I’m notoriously hard on footwear). No complaints.
If you need a pair of dress shoes that can accommodate using a 3/4 Orthotic hard plastic insole, this is the shoe for you. I always bought J&M dress shoes and used to be able to fit my insoles, but the last several pair just don't fit anymore. I tried this Florsheim and am very impressed. Good quality shoe, and extremely comfortable right out of the box and fit my insoles after removing the stock footbed. The shoe has a rubber sole, which is not my preference but I'm sure will hold up well. Hope they wear well but so far very happy with this shoe.

These shoes fit great. Wide enough to fit my foot but not too much. My toes are not smashed together like in many shoes. I went through many styles and brands before finding these. The color is spot on, not too orange, not too red.
