Sized well for me, very shinny dress shoe. A little wide on one foot at the heel, but that's my feet. Would highly recommend. Well made.
These are very well made, high quality leather shoes. They have a leather sole with a rubber inset beneath the ball of the foot; the heel appears to be stacked leather with a 3/8" rubber heel bottom. This is a five eyelet plain toe black oxford style shoe with just a hint of squareness in the toe. These are great black tie event shoes; as you can walk, dance or give a little talk while looking your best while having comfortable feet! These shoes support you and your feet, shine up to a nearly patent leather shine and make you look as good as you can be. These are dress shoes that let you look your best in the office, or your cousin's wedding or while giving a business presentation: I do not know what more could be expected of any shoe that makes you look good and makes your feet feel great!
Was a bit skeptical since I saw many reviews saying these ran large. I didn’t see that. They were true to size. These are about the best quality shoe with regard to use with military uniforms as I’ve ever used in my over 21 years of service. I also wore these exact shoes while at The Citadel from 1984-1988. Florsheim sets the standard. Nothing more needs to be said. They are the “Go To” brand.

In my experience these shoes are the best That I've seen for maintaining a military standard shine. They shine right out of the box and they , in my opinion, are higher quality than Bostonians. Excellent pair of Shoes
My son attends The Citadel and this is the perfect shoe for his dress events and inspections. It is a classic and provides positive results every time.He states it is also a very comfortable shoe and easy to polish.
Florsheim shoes, specifically the Lexington line, is a perfect match for my military uniform and has been part of my uniform of the day for over 10 years. Easy to shine, comfortable and great build quality.
