The rubber heel cracked all along one side so the heels is ripping off, no longer wearable. Its sad cause these were the best shoes otherwise.
Not enough room for my orthotics and my feet! Otherwise they are very comfortable!
These were really comfortable, I wore about once a week so less than 10 times and tonight I noticed my foot leaning down on the outer right heel. The whole sole has split away from the shoe and cracked open at the heel. It says the return window is closed but I think a shoe this expensive should last at least 6 months. I typically get a couple years out of my shoes, I'm not hard on them. I wish I could get a refund. Instead I had to throw them away which stung because they are actually real leather and looked brand new otherwise. I suggest if you do take a chance on these to buy from a retailer with a longer return window. I thought this was a reputable brand and didn't dream I would have a problem or I sure would have.Edit: If you do decide to buy these, be aware that Eastland has a 3 year guarantee. I didn't know this before I threw mine away so they aren't honoring it. But if you are out of your return window with Amazon, click on product support and it will take you to a link to contact Eastland directly. You have to send them the shoes and they decide if they are defective, and if so they will send you a new pair (or comparable if the original shoes are out of stock. I only wish I had known sooner. I hope this might help someone.
I put these on and I thought I had found a shoe I could wear. Then I stood up and walked. The toe was ok, the arch was ok, I liked the heel height, but the REALLY BAD THING THAT MADE ME HAVE TO SEND THEM BACK, WAS the back of the shoe above the heel that wraps around your heel and is SUPPOSE TO HUG THE HEEL DIDN'T instead it slips up and down with every step. The heel does not go up far enough around the back of foot and is not curved in to fit the foot at the top of that part. Not an feature I could ever live with. Who wants a shoe that slips up and down with every step. So very very disappointing .
I love these shoes for fall/winter wear. I purchased this past winter, and was delighted with the tread. The leather is nice and the shoe makes me feel confident & no-nonsense. Yeah--I'm strange. In any case, great pair of shoes, the medium width fit my size 10 slightly wide feet perfectly. Highly recommend for any woman wanting to feel sturdy!
Eastland is my favorite brand for comfortable shoes
Bought these hoping for sturdy yet professional-looking shoe for work. Wore the shoes a few times a week for about 6 months before noticing (during a rainstorm when my feet got wet) that the bottom soles on both shoes had completely split down to the insole right along where a shoe naturally bends during walking. For $90 a shoe should last longer than 6 months with moderate use. Not worth the money.
Not a regular width. This is a very narrow shoe.
