I have had my Eastland Oxford's for four years now. I have to say I love them. My work dress code is business casual. Mostly wear slacks with sweater or nice jeans. I wear these shoes approx 3 out of 5 days a week. I love them. They are extremely comfortable and have held up very well. They are just now starting to look a bit on the 'worn' side. After the second year I put a heel insert in to add to the support as it was beginning to wear down. About once a year I give them a leather cleaning treatment. No cracks at all in the leather. I will be ordering another pair, more because I need them to have a bit newer look for my dress code, not because the shoe is worn out.
For whatever reason, oxfords just aren't in right now (maybe because they've never been overly "cute" shoes?) Found these here - I already knew my size, 8W - and they fit exactly right. Comfortable, well-made, and not terribly unattractive in my opinion. The shoelaces won't stay tied, but that's a classic eastland problem. It's the wax they use. A swap of the laces will fix that.
I wear a size ten with room and these size tens were very tight. A bit narrow too. Since they are leather, they are stretching slightly and I hope to have them fitting soon. They are very well made and a size shoe for work.
Okay so here me out. I was skeptical to get these after many were saying that these shoes were too narrow. I bought a pair anyway and they are absolutely amazing. They are super comfy WHEN BROKEN IN. Yes these shoes are tight at first but they are also leather and need some patience at first. It took me a week to break them in and now they are perfect!
I have plantar fasciitis, something wrong with my Achilles and 2 bone Spurs therefor I have constant foot pain. I have purchased shoe after show after shoe in the last year and nothing helped. I ordered these bc they were cute but oh my goodness they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever put on. My feet don’t hurt!! I highly recommend these shoes….I even bought a brown pair!
Very narrow and the laces are cheap looking.
This is my third pair of these shoes. I think they may have either been discontinued or they changed the name as they were hard to find. There is no breaking in period and they have plenty of support.
I really like this brown shoe! All leather with minimal designing. Just sweet. I ordered my regular size and at first I thought they fit perfectlyn. Great memorie insole. But after wearing them around the house for a while I found my big toe start to feel pressure and was getting cramped. I'm returning them for a half size biger.
