I’ve been purchasing Eastland shoes for years as they’re comfortable and durable
I have the ladies version. This shoe is extremely well made. The sole is stitched on. The tread is sufficient to be safe without catching much dirt. There are no seams around the top to leak water or come apart. The inside is very substantial with proper support. You can see and feel quality on every aspect of it. Now try it on! It is light weight, cushioned and well proportioned. I have plantar faciatis and do not wear my inserts with it because the support is built in. It required no "breaking in". I expect to wear it for several years, and plan to have a new pair on hand for the day it wears out. Bought my husband some too.
It is good comfortable shoe, but if you like narrower toes, this is not for you.
This is the third pair of these shoes I have purchased. They are comfortable to wear and walk in. You feel like you are wearing snikers, but have the support of hard shoes. The soles and leather never wear out. Eastland needs to improve the portion of the shoe that rubs against your ankle. It is the only portion that wears out resulting in the need to purchase a new pair. This area does not seem to be repairable. Otherwise the shoe wears and looks great and they last quite a long time before the ankle area starts to wear.
What I wanted
School required the purchase of the shoes for my great nephew. Pretty sturdy shoe, and his foot remains the same size...and we hope it does...the shoes should make it to the end of the 2023-2024 school year. Fast shipment, more reasonably priced than any other outlet. Will most definitely purchase from this vendor again.
I already had a pair of these shoes in brown for a couple of years and liked them so much that I bought another pair in black. They are very comfortable even when I go for my mile walks at lunchtime. There's plenty of room in the toe area so they don't feel confining like some of my other shoes. I'm finding these shoes to be very durable as well, showing minimal signs of wear.
