I've had my shoes for 10 months now and still love them. They are lightweight and very comfortable and the most solidly constructed shoes I own. Not sure why the other bad reviews, these shoes are great. I'm writing this review because I decide to purchase another pair in a different color and saw the bad reviews and thought I would add my 2 cents. Mine have lasted almost a year and I'm back for another pair because I have been so satisfied with this product. When they have gotten dirty, I lightly clean them with water and then let them air dry. (I use a clean toothbrush on the white sole). After air drying I condition them with leather conditioner and I'm back in business with shoes that look great!
Easily the most comfortable shoe to wear on concrete. I am a supervisor at a nuclear power station and have worked on conrete for a very long time. The sole is perfect for saving knees, hips, and the back. The uppers are sturdy but break in quickly. The only complaint is they are far from slip resistant although the white sole is so similar to the slip resistant soles on other brands. They were over 200 cheaper than the old reliable redwings ive been buying for many years. These are my new favorites and the only brand I will buy until I retire.
This shoe was pretty much as I expected. It was killing me right under my ankle, sort of digging into me there, but I persevered, even used some baseball-mitt softening oil on it -- the shoe collar is not padded in any way -- and eventually either the shoe or possibly my ankle softened. After some wear, the soles are now getting a little slippery in rainy weather, but that's kind of what I expected. They are not Vibram soles, etc. But I'm happy with them.
These shoes look great and feel great however, they wear very fast and you will have to replace them within 3 to 5 months.
Lining grips socks like sandpaper, battle to get them on. Back in the box for return in minutes.
