I've had the safety toed boots for some time. I got these because I just live boots over shoes but my work boots kinda look like I've kicking the hell out of things. These fit just like I thought they would and they look great too.
Great water proof boots! 👍I love them. They are great for working in.I am on my feet all day in and out side. I keep th on all day even when I am home. I forget they are on.. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Best boots ever!Thank you ❤️
As another reviewer mentioned, these run a bit narrow, which as I've been trying to buy boots for my wide feet seems to be a common theme for boots.I typically wear a 4e new balance athletic shoe, and the xx-wide (supposedly 6e) of this boot fit the width of my feet well.I just got them today, so I am testing them out around the house and so far everything they are fine.
If I had written this when they arrived I would have given 4 or 5 stars. They fit well. They’re comfortable to walk in and stand in all day.BUT after 3 months, the sole is starting to separate from the leather boot. I tried to get pictures but it doesn’t show well with the black boot/ black sole. It is starting as a small area but this will only get worse.VERY disappointed because I really like the boots and thought they were a good choice until I saw they’re falling apart.
My husband has a congenital ankle defect that has only grown worse with age. Now at the age of 70, he needs new braces every 2 or 3 years and each new set of braces requires a new pair of boots. New boots are needed so that the braces won't deform. Old boots give and stretch out with use. He may order new boots 2 or3 times a year to assist the braces to do their job. Insurance covers the braces, not the boots. It is difficult to find boots to use with the braces, they must be extra wide (5E) and are not available locally anywhere so we order them online. At $169.95 plus $19.54 tax I didn't see these as cheap boots, expected them to hold up for months. These boots were not returned because we ordered them for the date that his custom ankle braces were expected to be ready. The braces needed a very minor adjustment and we had been told that the adjustment to the braces would be finished over the weekend but actually, the supplier returned them to the manufacturer. The repair may have taken 5 minutes, but the return took weeks and by then it was too late to return the boots. We drove to the supplier's office and tried the boots with the brace, but the 'speed lacer' type eyelet ripped out at the first effort to tension the boots' laces. As seen in the first image, the backplate anchoring the lacer eyelets is flimsy metal that easily released the anchoring rivet. We repaired it using a small arbor press and epoxy. The eyelets appear to be speed lacers but actually they require the laces to be threaded through the tiny eye as shown in the third image in order to properly distribute the stress. Using the wider scooplike opening puts far too much stress on the outer edge of the lacer and rips it out without too much trouble. Instead of being speed lacers, these are finicky-picky-take-your-sweet-time lacers. These may be just what some people are looking for but they are not at all what they appear to be.The boots themselves are good quality boots but due to the slow and finicky lacers they are not being used. No one around here has half an hour to put on each boot. Life is too short to spend poking bootlaces through tiny eyelets, not to mention there is no way to hold tension while you thread the next eyelet. We ordered another pair of boots by Wolverine and they work as expected.
I had a pair Dunham boots for 15 years and recently the sole fell off. I couldn’t imagine not getting a new pair.
The top hooks are not made well they are bulky and stick out just put regular hooks on, they catch on things and come Unhooked too easy, regular hooks and you would have a great boot
I have 6E feet. I just purchased these. My feet hurt from just putting them on and sitting down. These are not 6e. Cannot speak about build quality, cannot speak on anything other than these are not 6e or xx wide.Shoe size 11.5 6E.
