The Dr. Martens Men's Dante Oxford stands out in several ways, making it a worthwhile addition to your footwear collection. When it comes to comfort, the air-cushioned sole absorbs shock effectively, providing all-day ease whether you're at work or enjoying a casual day out. The lightweight feel adds to its appeal, especially if you prefer shoes that won't weigh you down.
In terms of style, this model captures the essence of Dr. Martens with its iconic grooved sides while maintaining a more streamlined look. It effortlessly transitions from formal to casual settings, allowing you to pair it with jeans for a relaxed vibe or dress pants for a polished appearance.
Durability is another key factor; the fine-grained leather not only looks good but also withstands daily wear and tear. However, keep in mind that like many leather products, they might require a bit of breaking in at first. Some users have noted that initial stiffness can be uncomfortable, but this typically diminishes after a few wears.
Additionally, the slip-resistant soles provide peace of mind when navigating slippery surfaces, making them a practical option for various environments. Overall, the Dr. Martens Men's Dante Oxford is an excellent choice for those who value quality craftsmanship combined with timeless style.

My other Dr. Martens fit like they were made for my foot, they were also all three eye lacing. These I had to open up a little but I know I have an EE wide foot.. after that they fit perfect and the cushioning is wonderful. There was a thin gouge on the right shoe in back on the right side of the ankle only on the plastic or rubber sole.. I kept them cuz I don't really care but it was there so inspect your shoes when they come.
The shoe is nice, durable and comfortable
They’re VERY comfortable like you expect Doc’s to be but, they do y last like Doc’s are supposed to. They’re made with the quality of a cheap knock off. My last pair of Doc’s I had for 20 years before tossing them. These I’ve now had for not quite 2 months (delivered Sept 14, 21 and today is 8 Dec 21) and the leather is already cracking and falling off in the creases where they bend with normal walking. It’s doing it on both sizes, too. Not just the sides shown in the picture. These are not my every occasion shoes. I wear them for about 3 hours at a shot when I wear them. So, with VERY light wear, they’re falling apart. Extremely disappointing. The second star is strictly for the comfort of them but, clearly they’re going to be garbage much sooner than later. No shoes, especially these, should be showing signs of wear so soon. Not good.
I bought these for three main reasons: The low price, I need slip-resistant shoes for work, and the several pairs of Dr. Martens shoes and boots I've owned have been of the highest quality. My initial impressions of these shoes were good. These fit pretty well, and the sizing seemed pretty normal/true. After a week or so of wearing them half a day at a time for proper break-in they were pretty comfortable. The leather seemed to be decent. The soles had very little depth to the tread, which was concerning. The slip-resistance of these shoes on the tile floors at my restaurant was rather poor, and several notches below my last pair of Keens and anything sold by SFC.After wearing these 4-6 days a week at work for 6 months, the soles are completely destroyed. They are literally split all the way across (from side to side) in multiple places on both shoes, and they are no longer wearable. The meager tread is completely worn down around on the heel and in a couple other spots, making them downright dangerous on slippery floors. I had to replace the terrible, cheap laces after only about a month. These shoes are not only a disappointment for Dr. Martens shoes, they are a complete disappointment for any shoe. Until I can decide on a replacement I'll have to wear the Keens these replaced, which were worn daily for a year and still shoe very little wear on the much more slip-resistant soles. I preferred the look of the Docs, and they were reasonably comfortable, but the Keens are superior in just about every way. I am shocked to be saying this now, but even the cheap-looking Shoes For Crews that are so common in my industry are far more durable (as well as safer) than these. Not only will I not buy another pair of Dr. Martens for work, I'm hesitant to buy another pair for casual wear, as this experiences has shown me that they can no longer be trusted. This makes me sad, because I thought this was a brand I could surely trust.
To go out
I love this shoe. First time I tried this style but I did wear DR Marten work boots when before I retired about a year ago and they were the only boot I would wear because of the comfort along with the safety and support a boot is supposed to give you. So recently I strained my right foot and the only shoe I had in the house that would ease the pain were my old work boots. So I figured I would try these Dante Brando Oxfords and boy am I glad I did. I wear them almost all the time until my foot heals. The great thing is not only are they comfortable, they Look like a shoe you could wear with just about anything from jeans to a Tux. I love them and will buy the other colors. Just to let you know Dr Marten does not deal in 1/2 sizes so if you are a half size person round up to the higher size and you should be fine. Thats what I had to do with these shoes and also the work boots I mentioned.
Dr. Marten's used to always be awesome shoes that looks bad, but felt good on your feet. These look pretty good, but I had to replace the insoles, because of pain when standing for too long. The upper is also pretty flimsy and the treads are not deep even though it has a really thick sole. This was a disappointing buy.
Dr. Martens Dante Series. one of the best all purpose sneakers around, durable with no thrills and no surprises, all quality leather, non welted but rather corner stitched and cemented (no chance for welt/sole splitting). solid construction. simple and neat and also very elegant.
