The Deer Stags Men's Times Plain Toe Oxford excels in comfort, thanks to its innovative cushioning system. The S.U.P.R.O..® technology truly sets this shoe apart, as it cradles your foot and reduces fatigue over prolonged use. Users report feeling supported whether they're walking from the office to lunch or attending an evening gathering.
In terms of style, this oxford boasts a classic design that complements various outfits, making it very versatile. It seamlessly transitions from day to night, which is ideal for anyone with a busy schedule. The genuine leather upper adds a touch of sophistication while ensuring a polished appearance.
Durability is another strong suit of this shoe. The slip-lasted construction enhances its longevity, while the TPR outsole provides solid traction, reducing the risk of slips.
However, potential buyers should consider that some users have noted a slight stiffness upon first wear, indicating a break-in period may be necessary. Additionally, while the range of available sizes is generally accommodating, some customers with wider feet might find the fit snug.

My husband really liked the fit of and how really comfortable them were to wear. He also liked the look of them.
I had a similar pair years ago in the Navy, and I wore them as a police officer after I retired from the Navy. A hurricane destroyed my old pair so I decided to get a new pair for church on Sunday. I’ve had many compliments from old Sailors and Marines. Deer Stags are great shoes.
Not sure how much actual leather there is in this shoe but it still looks great and they are insanely comfortable.
I got a black pair of these a few years ago and finally found a brown pair. They’re professional looking, just dressy enough - but ultra comfortable.
Not sure how these would turn out not having worn this brand before, I was surprised. Very comfortable right out of the box. Most dress shoes need some "wearing in," but I wore these for a whole day on the first day and even took a nap with them on.
Hard to find in stores no days. Have to buy most shoes online and these were just as my hisband wanted. This is his second pair.
I have purchased Deer Stags for years because they are cheaper and have been fairly decent shoes. This is the first pair that fit properly, but that I returned. Why? One of the top eyelets ripped out when I was tying the shoe. They are too cheap to install grommets anymore. I bought a brown pair, as well. I installed my own grommets in that pair so they could not rip out. If you plan on buying them be prepared to put in your own grommets. Ridiculous. Would likely cost Deer Stags two cents (yen?) to put in lousy grommets on top eyelets of each show.
This is my third purchase of this same style shoe. I wear them for work, 5 days a week in a stock room. The first two pair lasted over a year each. I bought this pair 2.5 months ago and as you can see, the outside is peeling, the inside is shredding, and they also annoyingly squeak on our painted concrete floor.
