My son is 8 years old and wears a size 5 in big kids' shoes. These fit well with a little room to grow.
These were true to size and durable. We have gotten many uses out of these shoes between my two boys and then they were donated since they stayed in such good condition. Definitely recommend for a nice event (ours was a wedding). My kids never complained about them. I do wish the laces were a bit thicker or even Velcro but it does look nice.
I purchased these for the best man in my wedding and they look amazing. They fit perfect and pulled together the whole outfit perfectly. They are very comfortable too.

These little shoes looked so sharp on my son. They liked even better than I'd expected. You'll need to break them in though. The first time my son wore them, we struggled to make his foot go inside the shoe. After that, it was great! I might suggest picking up different laces. The ones they come with aren't very long, which made them difficult to tie for even me (we managed it though). Totally worth the buy!

My son liked this, I can offer advice. measure both of your little one’s feet before buying toddler shoes (if there’s a big difference between feet, aim to fit the larger size). Toddler’s feet can vary by as much as a half size. Keep in mind, too, that kids’ feet grow quickly, so you should re-measure your pup’s paws every two or three months to account for toddler growth.Bring her to her feet. Your child should be standing while being measured for shoes. Keep an eye on her toes: Tots tend to curl theirs under, but that will throw off the measurement.Put a sock in it. These are very cute shoes and look like they will last, unfortunately they are unbelievably stiff. My son couldn’t even get his foot in even though we ordered a size up. I compare his foot to the bottom of the shoe and he should have had more than enough room. It also looks very uncomfortable like it would cut up his ankles, so I am returning.
