When I purchased these boots in 2016, I was working full-time at a wholesale nursery and walking on cement all day, which was often slippery due to algae and mist. They withstood constant wear, in addition to frequently getting wet when watering plants (sometimes for hours a day). They're really comfortable and their grip has been awesome. Since then, I've moved into a different job that involves a lot of outside work and just walking on dirt/grass, and these boots continue to serve me well. Although I have regular hiking shoes now, these have also proven perfect for a myriad of day hikes over the years.I wore these boots almost daily (and all day) for a couple of years, and on a very heavy rotation since then. I am insanely impressed with how well they've held up- no separation of the rubber bottoms from the leather uppers, still comfortable, and the leather is still in pretty good condition considering I don't take care of it at all. I ordered my typical size of 7.5 and they fit perfectly.5 stars, for sure- highly recommend!
It’s for construction, ai thought it’s steel toe but it’s not, 55Ibs bucket fall on my feet and it hurts me. The best in it that’s its waterproof and from inside its cosy. But I cannot wear it since im working in the oil field and it’s not steel toe. Will keep it for hiking only ;)
3.5+ stars. There aren't a ton of choices out there for women needing steel toe boots, but these are reasonably priced and check all the PPE boxes- steel toe, 6" rise, and they won't raise any eyebrows at a job site. When I wore them laced as pictured they put pressure on top of my foot (right where the toe leather ends under the laces). Straight-lacing them (google it) relieved the pressure and made them much more comfortable.
Love these work boots! I wore these on a volunteer mission to Puerto Rico where I worked on concrete roofs and did mold remediation in 90-degree temps and humidity. They weren’t too heavy and fit really well with a medium-thickness work sock. I had no water infiltration despite working and walking in downpours, zero blisters, and was able to navigate a ladder easily. I purchased my regular boot size of 7.5M.
Toe box is tight. Normally wear a size 10, should size up.
Runs big. Uncomfortable tongue.Comfy sole.
