The breathable leather upper allows for ventilation, ensuring your feet remain comfortable even during extended wear. This feature is especially beneficial for professionals who find themselves on their feet for long periods.
The shoe's slip-resistant outsole is engineered to provide traction, allowing you to move confidently across various surfaces, reducing the risk of slips and falls—a critical consideration in any workplace. The steel toe offers additional peace of mind, protecting your feet from potential hazards.
Furthermore, the soft removable insole is a standout feature, catering to individual preferences for comfort. Whether you're wearing them on a construction site or in an industrial warehouse, you will appreciate the thoughtful design that prioritizes foot health.
However, it’s worth mentioning that some users have reported needing time to break in the shoes for optimal comfort. Additionally, the lack of waterproofing means they may not perform well in wet weather, limiting their versatility compared to some other models.

I love my new Cats. This was my first pair and I couldn't try them in advance at a store. I'm a solid size 10, and these as well as New Balance shoes are perfect. The steel toes are solid and strong. I can tell because when I push on them, there's no give. The shoe weight is just right. I don't like shoes that are lightweight or breatheable. There's a fine line to walk with steel toes shoes between being uunweildy and too light. It is an important consideration because when I've had toe, foot or ankle problems from running, a heavy shoe exhasorbates injuries, and they won't heal. There's a maximum weight that my feet can take. Another good feature is the rubber soles. Even though other composite soles claim to be slip resistant, they aren't. The traction pattern is a factor but not as important of the sole material. Even though physics dictates that pressure goes up when the area is smaller where a force is applied, somehow it doesn't work out with shoe soles. The whole weight of the body pushes against the ball of the foot with an extreme torque during the gait. A small pressure point on the ball in that moment means less grip, and if any part of that surface contact on the ground or shoe lacks confidence, a person is at risk. So I believe that the optimal shoe sole is solid and made of rubber around the ball. I've tested this shoe in some rains on floors and streets, and the friction is there. I'd buy a new pair twice a year.
It took me a couple of 4 to 5 days for me to break them in. I ordered the wide width and was concerned at first. I have wide feet. But Amazon has a awesome return policy. They fit like a charm. They have a good feel and weight to them. The leather uppers and thick rubber begin to flex after a couple of days. I recommend wearing some thick socks. Will last a long time for me. I recommend for anyone who needs these. Worth spending the money.
They are a solid pair of shoes. Draw back for me is they are heavy and do not stay tied unless they are double knotted. They are slip resistant, not water proof. They do have a thick sole and are sturdy. Just have that minor draw back.
Plenty of room in toe box. A surprise (pleasant) for steel toe. Quality in every detail. Suggestion: the cloth laces @ the lower holes are a wee bit tight when attempting to tighten. I wonder if a synthetic lace would travel more freely. Sole pattern allows natural fore foot break during walking, hence "no sore arches." Great midsole suspension! Laces a minor issue, but, just a hint! Highly recommend. Even with work socks, lotsa room!
Comfortable and good quality work shoe. Alot better than most work boots ive used over the years.
I work for a tree company, which is a very demanding job for feet/boots. If I'm going to be on the ground for the day, I always wear these! I prefer these because they are low tops, durable leather, and lightweight, but still have steel toes!!! I love them.I wore out the inserts pretty quickly, but it was super easy to upgrade to high end blue "athletic" inserts from "Go" (also available on Amazon)!
Good shoe so far; I bought it so I could safely work on the car in my garage. It seems just a bit large, I usually wear a 14 in athletic shoes, but that would have been waaay too big for me in this style. The wide toe box is nice, the fit seems to tread bigger than actual. Get at least one full size smaller if you opt for the wide toe box.
Was a decent shoe at first but only lasted 3-4 months of daily use before the heel insole started to fall apart. Shame because it's comfortable but cheaply made it seems.
