Love Them. True to size, I wear 7- 7.5w depending on manufacturing. I ordered 7 and it was too small so I ordered 7.5 and currently waiting for them. They are a tight fit and seem to be of Very Good Quality, Love the appearance, durability and traction on bottom of boot. I work in a very rugged environment and bottom sole is very important to me. These boots had a very nice feel to them. Its so hard to find Steel Toe boots for Women... Excellent Customer Service on return/refund. NOT AS GOOD as I expected. I will write to see what my options are.Jan 13 2015 UPDATE: It has been 6 months since my purchase. My boots had stretched out to a loose fit. ( It is some what workable ) the sole on the boots are cracking and starting to leak and my feet get wet. NOW I have no recourse action on returning / replacing. The real bummer: I purchased 2 pair. I had treated them with Obernoff to ensure protection of my boots for long lasting.
Make sure to go up one full size they are very tight unfortunately I will have to send mines back but I will be ordering again just cause we in a factory don’t mean we don’t want to be cute
These boots are not designed for ease of putting on / taking off. I love carhartt and was disappointed that I had to return them but it’s almost impossible to get your foot into them! Once they are on they fit great but in order to get them on you have to literally break a sweat. There needs to be a zipper or something added to the design.
I work a blue collar job where steel/composite toes are required. I believe these were narrow fits, which I wanted to give a try since I don't have very wide feet and needed something more snug for climbing ladders. The first few days the toe on one boot was a little too snug, but broke in nicely within a few days. I don't think these boots will last as long as some of the other work boots I could buy, but they are also half the price of most other boots. Will be buying another pair.
I work on a farm and live off grid. There’s nothing but mud snow and ice where I live rn and these boots are literally a game changer. I bought a pair of “waterproof” muck books and the first time I step in a baby puddle with them they filled up with water. These Carhartts have actual tread so you won’t slip, I chased my dogs through the snow in these and after my feet were still very dry. I honestly will never buy another pair of work boots.
I wear a size 7 1/2 and the 7 1/2 that I got is way too tight. At first I thought that maybe they just needed to be broken in, as new boots usually do, but these refuse to be broken in and are killing my feet. If you buy this boot I would get a size or two larger than what you normally wear, if I bought another pair I would definitely get an 8 and if that was too tight I would just get an 8 1/2 and not try and see if they will break in and leave me without the option of returning them. Other than that the boots are great, my feet stay nice and warm and dry.
ANYONE HAVE CALVES AND HAVE A HARD TIME FINDING BOOTS??? Well, that’s me. I’m short and I have calves, haha no ankles. These are a size 6. I used these boots for hiking and yard work around the house. Last weekend I put them to the test and went hiking up some water falls with wet, slippery, and muddy terrain. THESE HELD UP 100%!!!You will definitely need to BREAK THEM IN!!! Otherwise, they’re pretty comfortable, wide foot bed, 12” height, and my feet stayed DRY the entire hike. (Whereas my friends with sneakers had soaked shoes all weekend;) Honestly, they are super cute! You can style them up or down, and feel good about having no blisters, while being comfy in them! Hope it helps!!
Surely not comfortable enough to wear all day. Maybe an hour of work and my feet are not feeling good.
