When it comes to industrial boots, comfort and safety are non-negotiable. The Carhartt Mens 8" Energy Waterproof Composite Toe CME8355 excels in both areas. The innovative Insite Technology footbed provides unrivaled support, ensuring you can stay on your feet without discomfort. Combining this technology with a composite toe gives you peace of mind knowing your toes are protected from workplace hazards.
The waterproof feature is another significant advantage. Whether you're working in rainy conditions or handling wet materials, your feet will remain dry thanks to the Storm Defender membrane. The lightweight EVA midsole contributes not only to comfort but also aids in energy recovery, making each step feel less taxing.
Regarding durability, Carhartt's reputation stands strong. With a robust construction using brown oil-tanned leather and a sturdy outsole, these boots are built to last. However, some wearers have noted that the sizing may run slightly large, so it’s advisable to consider this when placing your order.
Overall, the Carhartt CME8355 is an impressive choice for anyone needing reliable work boots that do not compromise on comfort or safety.

Comfortable, good quality,
Boots fit nicely, help me with my foot pain (flat feet) I have tried other boots not much help. I do recommend them.
Not a bad boot, but honestly ill have to see how it does over time. Boots of any brand take a brutal beating in my trade. Most barely last 1 to 2 years. Only about 10% of boots on the market can withstand my field.
These boots are very comfortable. You don’t feel rocks I work in the real car business. You don’t feel the rocks on the tracks for welding. They’re really good very comfortable and keep your feet very warm and the cold weather.
In my line of work normally I desperately need new boots within a year and so far I've had these for 3 years and the only thing I have replaced was the laces. I also normally buy insoles for my boots before I put them on the first time since most boots have low quality uncomfortable stock insoles, I'm still on the original insoles which only now am I considering getting new ones. I highly recommend these boots.
MISSLEADING WEBSITE DESCRIPTION it describes 120,000 3D foot scans. But when you receive your boots the wrong insole is inside it is not the 120, 000 pediatrist 3D foot scan insert its a junk one!!!The correct 120,000 3D podiatrist foot scan insert has a BLUE LAYER in between the top Black and bottom yellow!THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I've caught Them doing this.
I had a pair of carhartt 6” for over a year prior to buying this style. I was pleased with how the previous pair had fit and lasted. The inside was wearing out and that was the only reason I went searching for a new pair.I bought these in late February. Today, at work, I happened to glance down at my boot and noticed that the rubber heel had torn away from the leather. I looked at my other and the same had happened there too. (See picture). I’ve only had these for TWO months. Who knows when they failed, because it’s not very noticeable when you are not bending your ankle.I guess it’s hit or miss in the boot world. I would not buy these again! If you need shoes for a physical job, don’t get these.I’ve been a carpenter for 19 years. Heels ripping apart was a new one to me.Durability - 0
I am an industrial electrician and in hind site I wish I hadn’t bought these. The toe flares out for an awkward fit around the foot but the rest of the shoe is nice and snug. The laces come untied constantly, which can be an issue when you’re constantly wiggling around in tight spaces. Oh and they collect your foot sweat. Like a lot. I’m talking, new pair of socks in the morning, and when you get home from work them hoes crunchy. For the positive: my girlfriend thinks they look good, and the sole is very thick which gives me an extra inch of height. Tread on the bottom is good and provides decent grip, but not better than my wolverines. In conclusion: go buy some wolverines
