Comfort: The Carhartt Men's Heritage Wellington boot scores well in terms of comfort due to its thoughtful design. The FastDry technology lining efficiently wicks moisture away, which helps keep your feet dry throughout the day. However, some users might find the initial break-in period slightly uncomfortable as the materials adjust around your foot shape.
Durability: Built to withstand tough environments, the boot's leather exterior combined with the TPU heel guard provides excellent durability. The direct attached welt construction further enhances the lifespan of the boot, making it a long-term investment for professionals.
Traction: With an aggressive tread pattern on the outsole, you can expect superior grip, essential for those who often work on slippery or uneven surfaces. This feature adds a layer of security while walking on various terrains.
Temperature Control: The 400 LiteFire insulation shines during colder months, ensuring your toes don’t succumb to the chill, while still allowing breathability, making it suitable for both winter and moderately cool days.

My husband does underground utility work and has switched up the types of boots that he wears based on the seasons. He absolutely loves these boots! They are great quality and long lasting. I would highly recommend purchasing these.
Very lightweight very durable rugged takes a beating and keeps on going and they are waterproof and they are very comfortable highly recommend these boots the only boots I will ever buy again
They seem to run a little small compared to other boots I've had but they are pretty nice, I bought a size 9.5 wide which is what I usually wear and they were too small so I was going to send them back but my brother actually bought them from me and I just got a size 10 wide that I ordered after that and they fit great and they are pretty comfortable especially considering they are brand new.
Listen to the reviews that say these are sized small. I usually wear an 11 in most boots and shoes but these are quite a bit too narrow. I should have ordered an 11 wide..I think and 11.5 would be too big but might have worked.I'd send these back but I need a good pair of boots too bad to return them so I've been wearing them hoping they will stretch enough to not kill my feet. They have improved a little.Outside of not being true to size, they are fantastic boots...most waterproof boots I've had in years and I wade a lot of wet grass rotational grazing livestock. Tough, waterproof boots are a must. I would have easily given these a 5 star rating had they been more true to size.
These boots are the 2nd pair for my Husband. The 1st pair were so awesome that we bought a 2nd one. He works as a big truck mechanic and the company he works for requires steel toe boots/sneakers..either way it has to be ST. The company has great programs like reimbursing the employee $ 100.00 in the new year for the safety of their feet. I had looked for a while for a winter boot for safety, warmth, comfort, and fit. The 1st pair were great. The boot has safety on ice, oil, and feet. All the information on them are true. We also bought a size bigger so he could wear heavy winter socks. My Husband is a size 13,bought 14w,he has wide feet. These fit great. At $135.00 which is an awesome price for these as well. These boots are well worth the $$ and the safety they provide which is required at his job. He wears these all winter long even around the yard at home. The other plus for him is they are an easy pull on and they are Carhartt a name you can trust. Thanks Amazon for offering and for Carhartt making!! Diane O. from Upstate N.Y.
They suppose to be wide, Yaah.. maybe for tiny feet.. Extremely narrow, after three days of work, 10 hours shift I could not withstand pain, bruises, .. Junk.. with no chance to return, wasted two hubndred $... never ever buy again...
These boots are of really good quality. The waterproofing is great. They are pretty rigid to wear at first. It takes a while for them to break in. The Reinforced toe is a little short on the pinky toe side. The press in the middle of that toe. That took a while to get used to. The heels and ankle support are tight and there isn't a lot of movement so it rubbed for a while, again it took a little while to get used to.They run short, I usually wear a 11.5 size but had to return them and get the 12 to fit the length correctly.Overall I really am happy with these boots.
