So far in very harsh conditions these boots are holding up very well. Working in steel fabrication manufacturing that goes from outside work to sand blasting and welding. They are comfortable and a good fit.
In the beginning it’s kinda hard to get used to the weight but keeps my feet warm and it’s totally water proof. I’m using to work in a factory and works fine with the snow and the daily work time . Super recommend it!
A little tight at first but loosened up as I was wearing them as expected was really empresses with the composite toe size usually I can feel the edge of it but can’t on these definitely recommend6month update Still doing really good still comfortable and not splitting at seems composite toe has saved my toes multiple times from so heavy objects.2 years of shop work and outdoor labor finally need to replace… probably should have replaced a couple months ago.
Good quality and comfortable boot. My only complaint would be the VERY thin shoe laces that came with the boot. Especially for a work boot, these laces won’t last long. I dropped a hunk of metal on my foot and the metatarsal guard and composite toe saved my foot from injury.
I liked that I put these on and wore them for 12 hours and experienced no discomfort at all. I expected a break-in period, but with these boots, it wasn't needed. I've worn them for several weeks now and they still remain just as comfortable as the day I put them on.
Great boots, as advertised. Widths are great, fit is also great. Comfortable, Waterproofing is solid. Now here's where the problem lies, these do NOT breath at all. I'm currently working an inside job, AC all day, my feet are soaked with sweat by the end of the day. I'm foreman and get to walk and sit. So there's no reason for my feet to be so hot all day. Would have given a 5 star rating if not for the serious breathability issueOkay, 6 moth update the toe protectors are breaking up. Not due to abuse, not sure if the waterproof system is intact. Thought I Felt a bit of water penetrating the right toe this past weekend. Will test more today later and update. If this is the case I will be very unhappy with this purchase.
Boot makes noise when walking like they were not stitched together properly. Just one and can see that the machine sewed them together crooked. Need for a job soon otherwise would return/exchange. Poor quality inspection.
I recently started a new job at a manufacturing plant requiring metatarsal protection. Having worn boots for almost 30 years, I wasn't expecting to find a good pair of comfortable boots based on past experiences and what I could find in the local stores. I got a pair that was the only pair the store had that was the right size and met the requirements, but they were just too tight in the toe box. So I searched online and found these Carharts. While I was dubious at first and not all that comfortable the first day wearing them, as they broke in, they surprised me how well they fit and how well I could move with them. I have no issues climbing up and down into industrial lift trucks and forklifts.
