This says size 8 but it is size 9. Also, it does not look as nice as on the web.
I accidentally had 6 pairs of very high quality work slacks measured and hemmed, at the same time, while shopping at Men's Wearhouse in cowboy boots, so when I went to wear my normal work shoes, the pants drug the ground. So I ordered these thinking that they'd jack me up just a little bit, so I wouldn't need to pay for re-hemming... Well, the problem is that there are two components to the rising function - the external heel, and the "internal heel", which together makes you ridiculously too high. But I remedied this and now they work and I do wear them: I just had the shoe shop take off the factory external heel, which was around 1.75", and replace it with a normal one. So now the external heel is normal looking to an observer, being roughly 3/4ths", and the "internal heel" is perhaps another 3/4" to 1", so they work to keep my hems off the ground, but at another $50 expense at the shoe shop. I'm also not entirely convinced they are leather, as advertised... they may be and I'm no expert, but they look at little "cheesier" material than leather, to me. I'm going to have an expert look at them, and if they are not leather, then obviously, I'm going to sue the pants off this Chinese seller for fraud. These also make you walk funny/awkwardly, and wear the rear part of the heel faster than normal. All in all, not a good buy; I'd have been better off just re-hemming all the pants.
