I bought a pair of bates tactical boots back in feb 2023. I’ve had numerous foot problems and my doctor advise me to look into bates brand. I need to wear boots daily at my job. So I found a pair through Amazon and made the purchase. I’ve had them now maybe 3+ months and the stitching on the sides have come loose. Both boots are having the same problems. I’m going to contact bates customer service and see what can be done about this issue. Overall it’s a good comfortable boot.
I ordered a 10.5 like all my other boots, but had to send them back for an 11. Once I received the 11, they fit great. Seem to be well made. Very comfortable.
Boots are light weight. Maybe a little to much. Wear well. Not sure if they're waterproof yet. First motorcycle ride in the rain will answer that. Time will tell about durability but, I've got my doubts.
This is my third pair of Bates boots. These ones feel really cheap. I sent them back.
