These seem to be very good quality boots that will last me a long long time. At first they were a little stiff so of course I had to break them in, but now they are comfortable and very sturdy. I feel safe in these boots and they are attractive too. The fit was as expected, I have a normal size 7.5 foot, not too narrow or wide and they fit great. The look like they would be very heavy but they aren't overly heavy considering their sturdiness. Very happy with purchase.
Best Boots Ever! I work in a Winery, and am on my feet ALL day. I have tried many safety toe boots but these are by far the best I have found yet. I have been wearing them for a few weeks now and wanted to share why these boots are so awesome!1. Breaking them in- took only a few days and some extra thick socks. My redback boots took months to fully break in so this was a big deal to me.2. Weight- the composite toe makes these boots significantly lighter making them more comfortable to walk in all day and making me a little less clumsy.3. Comfort- I am able to wear these boots through a 10 hour shift followed by the grocery store, and whatever other errands I’m running on my way home, without the burning sensation when I take them off the second I get home.4. Cute- I get compliments on these boots all the time! They are a great color and much more feminine than most other work boots. The toe is a little bulb-y but most safety toes are...Cons:1. Not waterproof- though I am told there are waxes or other treatments that can be done to protect the leather.2. Wear- they are showing wear much faster than I had hoped but also understandable as they are leather, and I do wear them 5 days a week.Overall, I would highly recommend these boots for any girl who, like me, is tired of wearing men’s steel toes that never fit right, and feel like you have bricks stuck to your feet. Hope this helps :)Cheers!
I work in an industrial environment and it's hard to find good boots that last. I had been buying Bates boots but they just weren't holding up to my work environment. I have had these for about a month and I really like them! They didn't have a break in period and we're comfy from the start. I did buy insoles for them but I always wear insoles in my work boots. They look nice and I think they'll hold up, time will tell.
Very comfortable and lightweight work boot. I wear them 10 hours a day at work, and at the end of the week I have no foot or ankle pain, which some other hard toe boots cause. They're also slip resistant, and I haven't had any problems working on smooth, wet concrete frequently. I work mostly outdoors in 80+ degree weather, and I am surprised that I never feel like my feet are smothering in these boots. Plus, they're so cute!I normally wear a 7.5, regular with in tennis shoes, and the 7 in this boot fits perfectly. I could see them being too narrow, however, if you normally wear a wider size shoe.Very well made, would definitely recommend.
The toe box on my pair was too narrow and painful. I am very disappointed as I own many pair of Ariat boots and love them all. I dont see any way that this can expand by wearing them as it is a hard toe box and not simply leather that would need to expand. I'm returning them and purchasing another brand of workboot that was recommended by my warehouse manager. He said most of the morning drivers wear Keen and love them so I will be giving them a try.
Great fit, great look, very durable. All around great.
I purchased & returned them twice. The reason this is only 1 star is because I ordered 8W. The description says 8W The boots were not 8W either time. I cotacted the seller & they had the nerve to tell me these boots do not come in a wide width. My sister needed them for a new job at a grocery store. I myself have a pair of these boots that I purchased from Boot Barn & they fit perfect, I can wear them all day 12 - 14 hours without any discomfort at all. Mine are 8-1/2 Wide.
I love, love, love these boots! Thank you Ariat for making a comfortable women’s lace-up safety-toe boot. They are so hard to find! These were comfortable from day one, and have gotten better with time. They are easy to get on and off with the hooks at the top. My only criticism is I wish they were a tad taller. Technically they don’t meet safety specs at work (these are 5”, and I am supposed to have 6”), but I don’t think anyone will notice.
