Took about 2 weeks to break in, but changed out the insoles after that. Know they fit awesome
They are a very comfortable boot to wear 12-14 hours a day
Best boots , my husband is retired , and wears these every day , works in garden , mows grass , walks around our property, good sturdy well made boots !!
I love the color and the design of these, however they were not as comfortable right out of the box as I would have expected. This is primarily due to the inferior insoles (or removable footbeds) used with these boots. They do not come with the ATS gel insoles like my other pairs of Ariat Workhogs did. This is a shame, as now I am going to have to go out and buy (for $20) a pair of the Ariat gel insoles to go with these (Way to go, Ariat! Your plan worked!), As for the "venttek": The mesh (or vented) panels to me seem to be a gimmick, as the fabric in these areas is so thick I can not see how air will pass through it. This is fine for me, as I think any warm air will simply rise out of the top of the boot shaft anyway. Not to sound too negative... I do love the color and the design of these, and I would have given them 5 Stars if it weren't for the cheap insoles.
I like this boot better than my other ariats because of the mesh material. Keeps my feet cooler. Nice and comfy inserts.

Fit as expected. Very comfortable right out of the box, little to no break in period. The mesh lining is very comfortable. Seller got them in route quickly and they showed up a day early!
No steel toe, not waterproof, if you would like to know. Everything else is perfect.
