The Ariat Mens OverDrive XTR Waterproof Composite Toe Work Boot stands out due to its robust construction and thoughtful design. The combination of full-grain leather and polyester provides not only waterproofing but also long-lasting wear that can resist abrasions common in many industrial settings.
Comfort is a critical factor when choosing work boots, and the inclusion of Ariat's ATS Max technology enhances stability while reducing fatigue during long hours on your feet. Moreover, the built-in mesh lining promotes breathability, making these boots a good choice even in warmer temperatures.
The unique U-Turn entry system deserves special mention; it allows for easier access into the boot, accommodating various foot shapes without compromising fit. This feature is particularly useful for those who may struggle with traditional pull-on designs.
However, potential buyers should be aware that these boots may feel somewhat stiff at first, requiring a break-in period. Additionally, while they provide exceptional durability, the added weight might not appeal to everyone, especially if you're accustomed to lighter footwear.
In conclusion, the Ariat Mens OverDrive XTR Waterproof Composite Toe Work Boot is an excellent investment for anyone in search of a reliable, protective, and comfortable work boot capable of handling adverse conditions.

These boots are great work boots. Ariat is an excellent brand and these are sold much higher elsewhere. The boots are stiff at first and require breaking in, as with any boot. The bottom has good grip. You feel like you have foot armor on when you are wearing these and could kick in a wall! They are light because of the materials and the two tone leather is stylish. I chose free shipping and they came 1 day after shipping.I am wearing these on a construction site with sitting water. The boots are completely waterproof and the foot is made from some type of high-tech mesh which will not crack with time, as leather will. Amazon is the best for good deals and fast delivery. 5 stars
Most comfortable and durable boots I have ever owned. Working day in and day out for over a year in 6 different rock quarries, they are still as comfortable as the day I got them. The only complaint I have with them are that they are a little cold, it wasn't a problem when I worked in Texas, but now I am back in the land of the cold and can tell that there is no insulation. But all in all they are a great boot and as long as you have good warm socks they are good in any weather.
Heavy and stiff. Hard to break in. But they serve their purpose.

WOW! these boots have exceeded my expectations. I live in Alaska and winter is harsh sometimes. These boots grip the ground so good I haven't slipped once. The warmth of these boots are great to better that my arctic boots. I was up on the slope(dead horse, AK) last week 11-2015 and I didn't notice and cold and that was with regular socks. The composite in these is sturdy and doesn't freeze your toes off like steel. The exterior of the boots are great and haven't really warn much after a month. I'm so happy with these boots and glad I took the chance with them. Give these boots a few days to break in they aren't your typical boots they are better! Also I would order a half size bigger.
So Ive had these boots for around 6 months now. When I got them they wore something awe full but I wore them anyway and within a few days I noticed them to be pretty comfy (Break In Period). At first I was skeptical as Ive always worn Double H brand cowboy boots but the quality keeps getting worse and price higher so I went with these. Less lift than a cowboy boot but good foot position. They can get warm but don't tend to hold much odor at the end of the day. They seem to spread my weight across the entire foot so less hot spots and tender spots. Best thing about them the mud and other farmy goo comes off pretty easy and doesn't track all over the carpet. As well Ive spent much of this winter tromping around in water and only once did my feet get wet.... might have also been my 4 year old surprising me with the water hose no one knows. They tend to give when my feet swell up, hold well on most surfaces, are generally comfortable, take a lot of rock kicking without much sign of wear, and only a slight appearance of damage after my bull stood on my foot yes it still hurt but hooves didn't cut thru.
This boot is way too tight, it's like it was made for a chinese woman's foot, but they're selling it as a work boot for men.
This is a cross between 3 stars and 4 stars. Boots hold up and are waterproof like advertised. The biggest issue I had was the boot was sooo tight on the top of my foot. I thought after a few days they get looser but never did. I'm not sure if it is because of the way its design so you can slide them on and off with ease. I had to put some oil on them and jam a granite drink coaster in them for two nights two stretch the top part of the boot out. I will say after they got stretched by the coaster they fit good and they are the easiest pair of Wellington to\ take on and off. I've worn Red Wing and Irish Settlers for 10 years.
