This Aravon shoe, made by New Balance,is the most comfortable shoe I have ever had. They fit my feet and felt great from the moment I put them on. This is my second pair in the same style and I was thrilled to find them on Amazon when my first pair wore out. I hope they never stop making them. They also offer style as well as comfort - well worth the price!
Aravon shoes are the only ones I can wear due to inserts I have to use. They are deep - at least the older models that have the removable insoles. A number of the newer ones do not have removable insoles so you have to check which ones you are ordering. The videos show the difference. Aravon shoes are well made and last a long time. I've worn a size 6 my entire adult life and wear the same size in this brand. I've worn this brand for about 10 years therefore I am very familiar with them.
This was a Mother’s Day present, 5 weeks ago and very light use as my mom only wears them to go out. Since they are over 30 days the seller doesn’t accept returns. Shoe’s sole it’s cracking all over. Over $140 pair of shoes and the sole it’s all damaged. Sad, the shoe it’s comfortable but very bad quality.
Fits true to size. I which they were made in the US as some New Balance shoes are. You always take a gamble when you order things made from China, their sizing varies from product to product. Anyway, this is a great looking and comfortable shoe. I recently retired from the military and just can't bring myself to wear anything but black or brown shoes:) They look very nice in business casual attire.
When I tried to put the shoes on my feet, they seemed to be too narrow, bur once I managed to get them on, they were comfortable. I like the shoes, especially since I wear an odd size and most shoe companies do not make shoes in my size. The style is nice for a walking/casual dress shoe. The arch support is good, and I may manage to wear them without orthotics. The price was reasonable though I prefer to buy shoes on sale when I can.
I have bunions and bought size 6.5 2E shoes. I don't have wide heels or a thick foot as do most folks that wear 2E shoes. To fill in that extra space, I added a Pedag HOLIDAY size 37 insole inside (just lay them on top of the included insole). The little holes in the leather in the bunion area help the leather give a little; Note: I have these both in brown and black. The brown leather is more supple than the black and break in more readily. I do not have any pain with these shoes. The enclosed photo shows my bunion.

I love these shoes! I work retail, have a bad back and am a bit overweight. I needed some shoes that would be able to stand up to standing and walking for eight hours a shift, four and five days week and help me not have a sore back at the end of the day. These shoes were it. I have worn them for almost a year now and they are wonderful. I don't have to take painkillers before shifts, go to work and not be in pain at the end. I highly recommend them!
