In terms of style, these shoes are incredibly versatile. Their sleek design pairs well with suits for a formal look or can be dressed down with chinos for a smart-casual vibe. The walnut color adds a touch of sophistication, making it easier to match with different outfits.
The durability aspect is highlighted by the 360º bench welt construction, allowing for long-lasting wear without compromising on comfort. The handcrafted nature means each pair is made with care, which reflects in their performance over time.
However, potential buyers should be aware of the initial break-in period. While these shoes eventually offer superior comfort, the first few wears may require some adjustment as the leather softens.

As expected from AE, excellent craftsmanship and they look very stylish. Slim appearance but not too narrow in the foot bed. Highly recommend for a long lasting great quality dress shoe.
These are nicely designed shoes . These run larger than normal . Sole isn’t great and is wearing out fast
Take a look at the pictures I posted. The bad: I received the shoes with a tear in the leather of the left shoot where the stitching comes together. I noticed it out of the box but didn't know what it was until I went to a local shoe cobbler. She asked if the shoes were a "factory second" and if I paid full retail price. I told her I did pay full retail and she said that it wasn't acceptable.More bad: The right heel counter is appropriately 1 cm high than the left. It caused pain from day one. I tried to break it in, did everything recommended on the Allen Edmonds website and then noticed this issue. The last bad: See my last picture, the stitching is coming out of the left shoe and a tear in the leather on the side was noticed. I wear overshoes, I work in an office building. I've never seen such a thing and I've only worn cheaper dress shoes with worse leather. The good: The left shoe was comfortable and seemed to fit well from day one. Besides the above issues, they seemed to be good quality otherwise.Unfortunately, I am going to return them. This was my first purchase of a high quality shoe and I am disappointed. I read much about how a higher quality shoe could last a decade or longer. Mine lasted a couple of weeks. Back to cheaper shoes for me.
I've wanted a pair of Allen Edmond shoes for 7 years. I was so excited when I got home to check out my new shoes! ...and you can see the pics for yourself. And there are problems with both of them.Inside sole isn't even attached in one of them! Cuts in the heels and leather. Staining in the leather (and not just normal stain variation). The stitching is messy in many places. Frayed leather... In short, I'm absolutely convinced they sold me a poorly executed, refurbished pair of shoes.(Not relevant to you guys) But if AE somehow sees this, just wanted to personally thank you for being the cherry on top of a day I already grieve on.
