Got a great deal on these Allen Edmonds. Seemed to good to be true. Upon opening, noticed some blemishes on the leather tanning on both shoes and the outer sole. If I had paid full retail price I would absolutely return them, but for the price I paid they are worth keeping and getting them re-dyed to a uniform color.
Disappointed with the quality of this otherwise great looking and fitting shoe. As indicated in the photo, both left and right shoes have a manufacture defect in the upper area where it appears burned with a raised crescent. Similar defect at the right shoe at the root of the eyelid area. Since i have not seen such latent defect at the ae store, i am led to believe that the amazon receives items that wont be sold at the store or factory seconds.
