When it comes to footwear, quality and style are crucial, and the Allen Edmonds Men's Liverpool Plain Toe Oxfords deliver on both fronts. Starting with the craftsmanship, these shoes are handcrafted in Port Washington, Wisconsin, ensuring that each pair meets high standards of quality. The use of fine imported leathers not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also contributes to the shoe's durability over the long term.
The 360º Bench Welt construction adds to the stability, making these oxfords reliable for everyday wear. You will appreciate the V-tread tap sole which offers flexibility along with discreet traction, perfect for those slick sidewalks or uneven surfaces.
Comfort is another highlight, primarily due to the CustomCork insole that naturally molds to your feet, providing a custom fit that becomes even more comfortable over time. Although they fit true to size, some users report a slight break-in period, so it’s advisable to wear them gradually at first.
Style-wise, the Liverpool Oxfords can effortlessly transition between different settings. Whether you're pairing them with tailored trousers for a business meeting or jeans for a weekend outing, they provide an elegant yet relaxed look. The Chili color is vibrant without being overwhelming, making it an excellent addition to your wardrobe.

Shoes were to wide try to exchange for medium and it would not let me try to reorder and the price was doble , someone is playing with the prices .Very disappointed
These shoes are extremely durable. I wear the walnut Liverpools 3-4 times a week over the last 3 month. They easily accept polish and appear almost new. They are smaller than expected but overall a great shoeThey are quite expensive though.Robert P. Miller Jr.Columbia, Maryland
Ordered black, the pictures make them appear with a rough leather finish, the Liverpools are actually smooth shiny leather - the pictures need to be updated to show the actual product being sold
It’s an investment. Still, wish I could’ve gotten it for a better price. They’re not suede like the photos make them seem. Instead you get excellent smooth leather. Love them anyway for the high quality and sleek styling from Allen Edmonds. Normally size 9, but the 8.5 EEE was perfect.
Bought black and walnut on sale. Black: great quality, comfortable (up 1 size, went to E width— as reviews advise), a real pleasure. Walnut: poor quality, odd fit, should have been a second. I like to buy American: at 50/50 odds, it’s tough (might try Loake, owned by AE).
Not a 12, more like 13
This is for the walnut boot. For starters, I am a very standard/average width. These boots absolutely run too narrow and by a large margin. They are currently the only pair of E width shoes across any brand in my closet. I am, and have always been, a D width. I have several other models from AE and I am consistently a D width in their shoes/boots. So, if you are going to order these trust me when I say they are easily a full size too narrow. As for the quality..... I've had this happen before in the past with AE and it is unfortunate I had to go through it again but I had to order three times to get a good quality pair. The first D width order were executed perfectly and a fine pair of boots. The second order (higher width) were nowhere near the same quality as the first. The third order finally yielded a good, wearable pair but still not as good as the first order. I think my approach with AE will be to buy two pair of everything and return the poorly executed ones. AE really needs to review their QC process. Other brands in this category do not seem to suffer on QC as much as AE and the price of these boots puts them right there with Alden, Oak Street, Dack and others.Beyond all the complications in getting a good pair, the boots are very good looking and a joy to wear. The leather appears to be a grade 2 semi-corrected full grain with little to slight imperfections, acceptable. The boots are very comfortable and I highly recommend them....once you find a well-executed pair. Happy hunting!!
