I have come to expect high quality shoes from allen edmonds and with one exception that is what i get. These shoes are good quality and a bargain at 239. The soles are thick and made of leather to last. The heels are not as good as i expected but made to last as well. It used to be a given that allen edmonds were nothing but the best but they are looking to cut expenses on the material side so you should be careful. The last pair i bought were made outside of the USA and the half heel fell off after just two weeks wear. These shoes seem to be of good quality overall. They feel good and look good. I have not worn them much and will update if i get a bad result when i do.
