When it comes to reliable work footwear, the Ad Tec 6in Steel Toe Laceup Leather Work Boots stand out due to their thoughtful design and robust features. The 100% leather fabric provides durability that's essential for any job site. One of the key highlights of these boots is the steel toe, which offers significant protection against workplace hazards. Coupled with its oil and slip resistant rubber sole, you can confidently maneuver across slippery surfaces without fear of slipping.
Comfort is not compromised either; the padded collar and tongue ensure that even after long hours, your feet won't feel fatigued. The cushioned footbed acts like 'little pillows' supporting your arches and offering all-day wearability. However, new wearers might initially notice some stiffness in the boots, which typically diminishes after a short break-in period.
These boots also sport a casual yet rugged look, making them versatile enough to transition from job sites to daily errands without compromising style. Overall, if you’re searching for durable, protective, and comfortable work boots, the Ad Tec 6in Steel Toe Laceup Leather Work Boots are an excellent choice.

I bought these mainly for when I go to the range. Buuut now I wear them all of the time. I love how sturdy they feel and they actually look cute with that closer to the toe start for the laces, they also look like they can definitely take a beating. The ones I got had some scuffs on the front so I think they might have been a return or just shuffled in the box too much. I didn’t mind that since the original purpose was getting dirty at the range lol. These have a lot of support, seem soft inside (although I haven’t stood like a whole 8hr shift or anything) even has decent arch support which I usually have to add little arch supports to everything. I usually wear a 7.5 and that’s the size I ordered, my toes can touch the front but not in an uncomfortable way so I would say these are true to size. I did get the wide and I am glad for the extra room for my toes on days I want extra thick socks.
Comfortable; fit well.
I work in a machine shop and wear these for ~6 hrs a day 4 days a week for the past year. They're definitely bigger than I expected and look sorta insanely massive. I immediately took out the inner sole because it wasn't very cushioned and they were a bit big. I replaced it with a thick gel insert and they've been pretty comfortable since then. I work around molten metal and they've also kept anything from melting into my feet which is a big plus. They're heavy and very big, but that's just the name of the game with steel toe work boots. You can't ask for more for their price though!
They’re great for my job. I fit my usual size and the steel toe is perfect for work. Also, cute!
It’s difficult to find steel toe working boots for women. Just gonna list the reasons that I will not be purchasing these again:1.) Painful. I thought I would give them more time to break them in. Turns out the steel toe is slightly bent in on the inside. I’ve had to stop work and put a bandage on my pinkie toe from it. Have to wear really thick socks to compensate.2.) Not oil resistant at ALL. Absorbs right in. They were all stained and disgusting after about a week of light work.3.) Not water resistant. Maybe the leather itself, but as soon as it rains or you step into a puddle/snow everything pours in where the tongue and laces meet.4. I had to re-bend all of the eyelets/speed hooks. Everything was made really sloppy so when you go to tighten your laces they just pop out of the eyelets and you have to re-lace the whole top🤦🏻♀️.5.) Price$$.. at the time I purchased them they were $74 so to be honest I didn’t expect much for steel toe work boots, but now that I’m looking on the website they’re in the $90s. Absolutely not worth it. just spend the extra 30 bucks or so and get quality work boots. These are trash.
These are very nice looking and for the most part seem to be built pretty good. I needed steeltoes for work and opted for a conventional boot look. These fit that perfectly. Wore them around the house to try them out. They are heavy as one would imagine steeltoes would be which was manageable but I could tell these were going to be uncomfortable after a long work day.I ordered a half size up and wore heavy socks. This gave me lots of toe room which was great. But the weight combined with the weird lacing set up at the top made for either a really tight or really loose fit around my ankles. I ended up with bruised shins, with the worst on the backside of my leg, after a few hours of wear. Ended up returning.
I just got a new job that requires me to wear steel toe boots these boots are great very comfortable and don't even know the toe box is there would definitely recommend.
These boots are very nice. The fit was as expected for me over all. The arch support and cushioning are not "little pillows for my feet" as described and could be improved. I bought some gel inserts and that helped. I have been wearing them for almost a week, and there is a breaking in period, especially at the top of the boots. Also, when lacing them up, it would be easier to do so if the top of the boots had the speed hooks instead of eyelets. It would make it much easier to tighten the laces without unlacing the shoelace from the eyelets. The color and styling are great. The slip resistance is not so good, so if that is an important feature for your job, look elsewhere. Not a deal breaker for my job. I would probably purchase them again. Update on these boots 2-14-22.I have had them for 3 weeks now. The leather at the top edges of the tongue has worn through where it comes in contact with the metal eyelets. Some of the stiching has also started to come undone on the tongue and down at the front of the boots. There is also some sticky glue like substance on the black fabric area that has the brand name in yellow at the top of the boots. I can not figure out what it is.I am now very disapointed with these boots. They started out as being pretty good. But starting to fall apart after 3 weeks means I will not buy these boots again. You really do get what you pay for. Too late to send back now.
