When selecting the right footwear for your young child, comfort and health are paramount. The pediped Grip Charleston Shoe ticks these boxes impressively. With its soft upper materials, it feels gentle against your child's skin while also providing an adequate level of protection during their playtime adventures.
The rubber sole is particularly noteworthy; it offers great traction, helping your little one maintain stability as they explore their surroundings. Additionally, the shoe allows for natural foot movement, essential for developing strength and balance. This means your child will be able to feel the ground beneath their feet, simulating the benefits of being barefoot.
One of the standout features of this shoe is its design. It can easily transition from a day at the park to a visit with family or friends. Parents appreciate the ease of use, too—simply fasten the Velcro strap, and your child is ready to go in seconds!
On the downside, while the shoe has an impressive approach to foot health, some parents have noted that it may lack sufficient arch support for certain children, especially those who require specialized support. Furthermore, the limited sizing might make it challenging for children with wider feet.
Overall, the pediped Grip Charleston Shoe is a fantastic option for parents seeking a balance of style and function. It's a pediatrician-recommended shoe that supports healthy foot growth while also keeping kids fashionable and comfortable.

I ordered these and the Stride Rite Woody (name of the style) shoes in 6.5 for my son. When they arrived, this pediped shoe looked really cheap and unattractive, especially compared to the Stride Rite shoe. I kept the SRs and sent these back. I'm giving them two stars because they seemed like they would have been comfortable, but for nearly the same cost, the SRs have been really sturdy and comfy and look so much better.
Very soft and sporty looking. Looks exactly as pictures. My 2yr old loves them and she's very picky about her shoes.
Fits great...adjustable velcro allows for high instep.good arch support...easy to bend foot...not stiff like faux leather. Stays on feet.....machine wasable. Love inside footbed...let's you see where toes are hitting. Even when getting snug, they stretch and don't hurt toes. The only brand that my Gans on fits great in...he has kinda high instep
These are perfect for shuffling around the golf course, riding in your Hoveround, and watching the 700 Club before bed. They're also perfect for toddlers, who really don't give a flying flip about what their shoes look like. But parents might be a little disappointed. I got these for our little girl because frankly, pink-purple-and-starlight stuff should just be boycotted by all of us - but these are just too ugly for anyone without an orthopedic issue. Maybe great for the 80+ crowd.Solid construction though - and very much liked by our kid. Just wish they had red or green stripes, not the weird trifecta of muted blue, black and grey.
With different size Too large. I do not know if I can go on forever. Sad to fail.
It's named brand and i expected more from shoes i got. They are not breathable at all. I can not say my baby feet is wide but shoes left trace on it so for me it's sign they are not wide enough. We are made well, it's leather, comfortable design but it sad it didn't work well for us
Awesome little shoes. Cute, comfortable, and my little guy can get them on and off by himself.
I ordered a 6.5 for my 17 mth old. They were a good fit and he seems really comfortable in them. The double Velcro strap means they open very wide so it's quick and easy to get his foot in. Love pediped!
