I had to buy these three times to get the right fit. I normally wear a 6.5 to 7. So I bought a 7 in these and could not get my feet in them. So I tried a 8.5, and they were too painful. I then bought a 9 and they fit perfectly. They were still tight, like they should be, but not to the point where I was in pain. I know they are supposed to be tight, like a second skin I also know they would stretch about 1/3rd a size after good use. I have had these for over a month now and use them 3 to 4 times a week. They work very well. Very pleased. Just be prepared to make a few returns before you find the right size. Runs extremely small.
I was so stoked to be getting new climbing shoes. I wear a size 6 street and hiking shoe. Typically, you buy a slightly smaller climbing shoe but I read the reviews so I bought my street shoe size. The length of the shoe was fine but the shoe was so narrow, I couldn’t even get the shoe on my foot and I don’t have wide feet.To be honest, these are not going to work for anybody unless they have incredibly NARROW feet. Like these shoes are NOT made for normal human feet.Picture next to the profile of my bf’s foot to show how narrow the shoe is. It’s about half as wide as a normal foot. Sending them back today.
I've ordered these shoes 5 times just from this vendor, and I've been wearing them for at least last 10 years. My street shoe size is 5, and I order size 5 of this shoe. I ordered 5.5 once for my daughter and for me they were too big. So I am very confused about all the feedback here from people saying that shoe run small. They don't. Climbing shoes are supposed to fit very tight and some might not fit your foot. I can't wear Scarpa shoes at all. But that does not mean they are small, they just don't fit you. These will stretch a lot two after ~14 hours of climbing. But these are not beginners shoes, they are great edging shoe. So buy your size if you know what I am talking about
I'm giving this product 4 stars because it performs exactly as I hoped it would, but the fit is a bit tight and I still have to take them off between routes. I hoped the less aggressive camber of the shoe would mean that I could leave them on more often than I take them off.Pros:1.) Love the velcro2.) Pointy toe meant I can balance on tiny holds3.) sticky rubber sole keeps me on the wallCons:1.) Small, even for a climbing shoe
I LOVE these climbing shoes. I am a beginner and they’ve been a perfect, low cost shoe as I’m starting out. They are really small (I wear an 8 normally and had to size up a full size). My friends told me they should be tight, but not hurt. Once I sized up, they were still a bit tight but have loosened comfortably within the first few weeks. definitely recommend for beginners like me!
I wear a street size 9 and got a size 9.5 with these. I have average size feet in width I would think. When I tried them on at home, I felt like they were going to be too tight, but I was going on a day trip the following day so I waited to decide. Wearing them outside made all the difference. I was able to stick into tiny holds with confidence and did not notice any discomfort on the wall. Back on the ground, I did have to take them off between climbs, but that was well worth it!
The shoes didn't fit and I chose not to return/buy another pair because the quality was not great. I could see the glue where the rubber was attached to the heel of the shoe.
I am a size 8 regular shoe. I ordered a size 9 because I read that you needed to size up, but I found that I needed to size up at least one to two more. Climbing shoes are supposed to be tight, but my toes were bunched up and I couldn’t Velcro closed.
