Thought they look cool. 30bucks. Put in the order 9.5. But then I realized it said lady’s. Lol. When the orde came. They fit like mens. And looked good , so I kept them. Definitely men’s size. Worked out.
I ordered small based on other reviews but I they fit way too small. My normal size was perfect. These are quality mtb shoes at a good price highly recommend
I bought these shoes for mountain biking/trail riding. I wear a women’s 7 1/2 normally so that is what I ordered originally. As soon as I pulled them out of the box I knew that I should have paid more attention to the other reviews. These were way too long. I sent them back and was immediately issued a refund which I appreciated. I still wanted these shoes, so I measured my foot from heal to big toe in centimeters and tried to use the sizing chart. Don’t bother. The sizing chart for inches/centimeters is messed up which is why I deducted a star. After doing some research into converting men’s sizing to women’s sizing, I ordered another pair. I chose a 6 1/2 this time because I was afraid that a 6 would be too tight, but the 6 1/2 is still roomy at the toes so I think a 6 would have been fine. The picture shown is an old women’s 7 1/2 Converse compared to this 6 1/2 Adidas. Over all I’m happy with the 6 1/2. There’s enough cushion at the ankles and the high arch feels like heaven. They don’t feel like they will slip around while riding despite the extra toe room. They feel heavy duty and sturdy enough for trail riding.
I have wide feet and usually wear an 8 1/2 (so 9 for narrower type shoes). Bought the black pair. Tried these on with cotton ankle sneaker socks. Runs large so definitely order 1/2 a size down. Good looking, stylish yet comfortable everyday shoes (once I exchanged them for a smaller size). 👍🙂
I ride gravel and trails with flat pedals. These have been a great shoe! Very comfortable and grippy, but nice enough to walk around in after a good ride. I am also a runner and accustomed to very supportive running shoes with lots of cushion. These are definitely as far from that as you can get… very flat, very firm but 100% perfect for their intended purpose.
I was a bit confused if these were mens size shoes, similar to Vans, or if they were indeed womens size. They are womens size just to confirm. I got a size 9.5 and they worked fine. Pretty true to size as far as I’m concerned. They don’t slip on my pedals which is great.
From my pawrent nondog related lolCute as these are they are really useless as a MTB shoe. The point of a MTB shoe is to have stiff soles and be grippy for the pedals. These are neither :( the original fiveten sleuths that I have like this are wonderful stiff soled and grippy. These bend over the pedals while riding and the grip is not there and you slide all over if you have to walk the trail at all.Wish I could return them but cant now. They are also sized way off - I had to size down to a 6 (normally a 7) and they were still a bit big. What did adidas do here- ruined a great shoe when they took over the 510 line. 😞🐾 for being cute but will be wearing them just as sneakers not for riding.
Overall fit and comfort is good. However the shoe seems a bit long but maybe that’s normal for mountain biking shoes as these are my first. Holding up very nicely. I bought specifically for the souls to help stay on my paddles and they work pretty goodUpdate 2021 over a year laterThey held up nice and I bike 3-4 times a week for the summer months in Michigan.I have realized they are way too big for me. They are long- if your a woman size 8, size down at least 2 sizes. In saying that- the size seems to be for men although it says “woman’s”They clean easy- just a wipe down.I wish they fit a little better but I think I’llBe getting a new pair soon.
