THE NORTH FACE Men's Thermoball Traction Mule V Winter Shoe Review

I've been thoroughly impressed with the Thermoball Traction. They live up to their promise of warmth and comfort, thanks to the excellent insulation. The fit is spot on, and the high-traction rubber out-sole is robust enough for quick outdoor trips, making them more versatile than your average slipper. I particularly appreciate the high backing that securely holds the foot, enhancing overall comfort. The only real unknown is long-term durability. That being said, after about a month of daily use they have showed no signs of wear, making these slippers a solid 5/5 recommendation for both indoor coziness and outdoor practicality.

Saw these North Face slippers in public and asked the person wearing what their thoughts were. The person said, “buy them! You will not regret it”!I did just that and let me tell you that they are the best slippers or slip on’s I’ve ever owned. Very warm and comfortable. I wear them everywhere and get comments. The soles have been holding up great with outdoor use. You can also throw them in the washer and they stay relative clean and looking new.I want them in many colors now. They run true to size. I’m a size 13 and I bought another pair in the cano green size 11 for my Son who also wears his everywhere.If you are looking for a warm slipper that can hold up outside …. Just purchase these and you will not be disappointed!

These look great, are comfy for moving around the house, garage, taking out the trash, hanging out the campfire, running errands where you don't really need to get out of the car much ,etc. Everyone that sees them comments how they want them, they look great/functional/warm, etc. Would highly recommend.

Bought these for my husband to wear indoor / outdoor in the winter. Shoe is very comfortable and tread is non-slip. Exactly what I wanted. Sizing runs a little small but not too far off.

I don't normally end up buying 'recommended product's, but man I'm glad I got past that on these. Just great, these. Order a half size up from normal if wear without socks, maybe 2 sizes up if using thick winter socks. Great tread, enough I feel I could wear these outside without issue. Warm, comfy, well fitting, and the 'adventure' pattern was on sale for $38. Feel like I stole these. Might get more!

tl;dr- these are great house slippers, but heed the other reviews that these run small. I'm a size 11.5. I had to return the size 12 because they were uncomfortably tight. The size 13 fits perfectly.The good- these are SUPER warm, nice cushioning, and have a cool outdoorsy aesthetic.The bad- They run super small. These would be alleviated if they used the same elastic that they used on the back of the slipper for the top. It's definitely a design flaw to not accommodate different sized feet, especially since these already run small. With the size 12 (already a half size up), I would end up with lines across the top of my feet after wearing these because they were so tight. With some elastic, the size 12 probably would've been fine, but I had to go up another full size for my foot to comfortably fit.These also have an annoying 'THERMOBALL' tag on the inside of the slipper. If you wear these without socks, it's super irritating. Had to cut these tags out- but why are they there in the first place??

I have only had these she for a couple weeks so I really can’t speak about hiw durable they are, but I can speak of the construction base first impression. The shoe appears to with a solid sole and rubber rim around the sole that provide a sturdy construction. The shoe material is the same as a shell coat and seems to be well put together. A few complains that I have noticed in reviews is that the band around the ankle is too tight and whether the shoe is too insulated for warmer climates or not enough for cold climates. As stated by many reviews, I purchased a size up. I normally would purchase size 11 but purchased a size 12. The fit was perfect and the ankle band was also. The shoe I have been wearing it around the house a lot in warm or cold weather and it seems to provide comfort in both cases. The temperature recently went down in the mid-twenties and fir activities like taking the garbage out or quick runs to a store they jeep my feet warm. The shoes are advertised as a camping shoes for walking around the camp at night. I think that they would meet those needs well. But if someone was going to use them as winter shoes for cold weather, then I doubt that they would suffice. I am glad I bought these shoes and considering purchasing another pair since I like them so much.Update: I have had these shoes for two months and have wore them almost ever day. I have wore them to get groceries, work in the back yard rebuilding a gate, in wet weather, digging up roots and other times. I have got them sirty, muddy and wet. I have thrown them in the washing machine three times so far and each time they have came out looking brand new.
