These are clearly used shoes. They arrived dirty. How upsetting
We bought these shoes after I had a hard time finding shoes from Stride Rite in my daughter's size. They were always out of stock for some unknown reason... Anyway, the shoes are great! We purchased the Penny style in the silver color. The fit is nice and the shoes don't come off that easy which is nice for a new crawler.My only disappointment was that silver color on the shoes wears off quickly on the toes. I knew that going in when I bought them since I had read the reviews, but I was thinking that would be over time and that she would probably out-grow that size by that time anyway. Turned out that the color wore off in a matter of a week or so. Just slightly disappointed given how much the shoes cost.I would buy the brand again without a doubt, just probably not this style or color.

I bought these shoes expecting the paint to wear off the toes, since I had read the reviews. But, I really wanted gold shoes for my baby for Christmas, so I bought them anyway. Well, she wore them all day Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, crawling everywhere, and there was not even the tiniest scuff! She has worn the shoes a few times since then and they are still in perfect condition. They look like they've never been worn at all. Maybe they have improved the shoes since the previous reviews or maybe those people just had bad luck. I don't know what they'd be like for everyday shoes, but for special occasion shoes, they're perfect.The shoes also fit very well. My baby had never worn shoes before (I only put shoes on my babies for special occasions until they start walking). Even though she wasn't used to shoes, she crawled just fine in them and didn't try to mess with them after the first few minutes. And they never fell off once even with all her crawling. Highly recommend!
The front of this shoe was ruined after only a couple wearings; the silver paint wears away and leaves white underneath. Very disappointed, as have always had good success with pedipeds before.
We loved these shoes. They have soft soles that made for very easy movements for a newly walking infant. They are adorable enough that they went with every outfit and we were constantly getting comments about how cute her shoes were.
