I bought these for my daughter (12 mos.) because I love Toms and thought they were super cute. She has just learned to walk and is super active, sometimes crawling sometimes as well. While these shoes look great and seem to fit decently, they simply won’t stay on her feet as well as other shoes. I tried tightening the strap, but the soft canvas causes the shoe to fold in on itself in the back and then her heels slip out. Perhaps better for an older kid (and I love mine as an adult!), but not so practical for a toddler.
