Quality is high for a kids shoe. They actually have a decent sole on them that's not foam like some other brands.
I ordered and reordered a total of three ever smaller sizes. They run huge! My son wears a size one Reebok sneaker and I had to get him these in a 12.5. In the meantime the price nearly doubled! That said they are super cool, dressy, and pretty comfortable too.

They're plastic shoes. The buckle is decoration, these are Velcro closures. The main color is ligher and the toe is darker than in the picture. Disappointed.
