I am thoroughly pleased with my new shoes. Yes, MY new shoes. I realize they're for children, but hey, I can fit them, so I bought them. As a person with more of an androgynous style, I was looking for a nice clean, simple, and classic semi-dress shoe. This is it! I wear a 6 in women and initially bought a 4 in boys of a similar shoe made by the same brand, but with a small boot. My feet were swimming in that shoe (and it hurt)! So...I thought I would try these, and since made by the same brand, went smaller choosing a 3.5. It was still too big. Wow! I couldn't believe it, but I refused to give up. I then ordered the 3 and did the exchange on Amazon--love that, because they ship while you're returning. The size 3's arrived in two days and totally ROCK! Now, I need somewhere to go. :)

Pros:- The shoe's has a nice and clean finish- Slim look- Very easy to put on- Comfortable fitCons:- Runs a bit large. I have wide feet, I walk flat footed, and I wear a 5 1/2 in kids. I ordered a 5 1/2 to accommodate my foot width and walking habits and still the size was a bit large. I'm fine with the extra space- The color in the advertised photo does not match the actual product, the shoes are a light brown. For the HEX lovers our there, the actual color is between a Pale Carmine #A44931 - light Burnt Umber #9A4029- The shoes easily and visibility creases after a few wears. In the photo, I wore the shoes once and made a conscious effort not to bend them when I walked and it still creased- Shoes are overpriced. The quality of the shoes is worth $35
I read through a few other reviews and decided to order these a size smaller than what my son typically wears. He does not have wide feet. They arrived and the fit is perfect. They look super sharp and I am very pleased with them.
Church shoes for my 8 year old, have held up great for how hard he is on things being a super active kid. There’s a couple scuffs as expected, but the overall construction of the shoe is perfect.
These are beautiful shoes, but the size is WAY off. I ordered a big kid size 5.5. The shoe says it is a kids size 5.5, but in reality, it is more like a mens size 7 or 8. I wear a womens size 7 and this shoe was too big for me. Fortunately, the boy is still growing and will have a beautiful pair of dress shoes to grow into.
Shoe looked great online. Thought it was a cognac color but the show that arrived was tan.
Based on the review of others I ordered 1/2 size smaller than my regular size (I ordered 6 instead of 6.5) and it was a mistake, it was too tight, so I exchanged it for my regular size (6.5) and I'm very happy with the fit and the overall look and feel of the shoes.I would assume that the reviews mentioning that the shoes run to big is because the design of the shoe is kind of long or pointy, so people with somewhat narrower feet would have too much room forward inside the shoes for the feet to move, but if the foot is more "normal" on its width, then the feet stop at the right place without going forward all the way to the pointy part of the shoe.Hope this helps others.
