These shoes are adorable. They run a bit large though. We had to go down around a half size for all of the kids.
True to size, comfortable, and durable.
Beware - these run very large. We finally got it right on the third try. My son wears a size 1 in sneakers and after 3 attempts, the 12.5 was close enough to fitting him. It is still a little big, but worked for the occasion and now has time to grow into them. The shoe itself is very nice and seems like it will hold up well.
It took 2 tries, but when we got the right size , they were perfect. We ordered these because my grandson has a wide, thick foot that doesn’t fit in many shoes, even with just thin socks. He wears a kids size 12 and the 12M fit great. Even though these shoes are wide, the size in the shoe is “M”. You do not need to order a larger size for extra room or to compensate for the lack of proper width. We learned with the first pair, 12.5, that even a half size bigger caused continual slippage in the back and made them hard to walk in. True to size, in this case, worked great. Ease on and off, roomy and comfortable for a wide foot, but still stayed in place when he walked. Very nice for kids that don’t know how to tie their own shoes.The only downside is the slippery plastic soles, but this problem was easily remedied with some sandpaper. I would by these shoes again when he outgrows the current pair. They are just as comfortable as his sneakers and now that the soles are roughed up, he’s not afraid of slipping and falling. The shipping time was fast; even the second pair came within a week of the original order.
Bought this for my son at school. He used these M-F. Runs with them, walks with them 7-8 hrs a day. He loves them. He said the shoes were comfortable and the size was just right. He is a 9 yr old wearing a 7 size.
My son said these are comfortable for wearing all day at school. They are easy to put on and the bottom is great for running around. Only issue is he has only worn them 8 days and as you can see in the picture is they are breaking already.
This is his second pair since he grew out of the other ones. He said they are his favorite shoes for church.
These dress shoes are for my 13 year old son. He usually wears a 7 but they were too loose so I returned them for a 6 1/2 and they fit fine. I would say these are nice for what we need them for. Very occasional wear to church or special occasions. If they need to be used everyday I would say they are on the cheap side.
