I have a shoe/boot problem, I have ALOT. My wife says I have "issues." Anyway, I buy nothing but the best I can afford until I go outside my comfort zone and buy inexpensive like these. But they are kick ASS!! I took heed to the previous reviews on sizing. I wear a true 9 in literally everything, so I bought an 8 1/2 and they are absolutely perfect. I really didn't want new engineer boots but my Carolinas are hammered, that's why I chose these,because I didn't want new one's but kinda need em'.Anyway, they're every bit as good as my Carolinas.Buy them! But go 1/2 a size smaller and you will dig em' !
Good workmanship. Great looking boots. They do run a little larger but nothing that an insole can fix. With an insole they fit great

They are wider then most other manufacturers I have tried, I walked around in them for a while and they felt pretty good, say down and forgot I still had them on, pretty comfortableCons: I wish the boot shaft was a bit stiffer, they're almost like putting on leather socks, very floppy in that department. I am a big fan of the style of these boots (except for that ridiculous metal tag on the heel), and the price was more than reasonable. However, I did not listen to the other reviewers about the sizing. I wear a size 10 in every pair of shoes I own, but not in these boots. I needed to go down a whole step to a size 9. Seller was very responsive and easy to work with in returning the boots.
One boot fit very well. Other was like a whole size too big. Expected good arch support and the whole boot was too pliable. Suffered fasciitis and sadly this occurred after the qualifying return date.
Ordered back on Nov 19th 2022I'm on my feet 8-9 hours a day and found them to be quite comfortable.The stitching on the right boot around the big toe lasted till Dec 1st or 2nd before giving out.The heals always slipped in just a little bit of water on the ceramic tiles.Probably a much better boot when used for riding.
