Been wearing these boots for 5 years. I buy them at least twice a year. They're perfect for me. Comfortable, easy to put on and durable. I can walk all day in them.
I have used the same style of boot for five years. Steel Toed boots are required for work, these are comfortable and durable.
Great boots this is my 3rd pair. I have tried several brands and these seem to hold up a lot longer than others. I would suggest trying on locally before ordering, I wear a 11.5-12 In most brands but a 10.5m in these. They are very comfortable for work boots. Soles hold up twice as long as most. Will keep getting these until they stop making them.
This is my first pair of slip-ons after I have been wearing lace-ups forever. The fit is perfect for my foot (I have wider front parts and narrow heels) but the steel toes don't allow them to be as comfortable as the same boot without steel toes. The factory insoles don't provide as much cushioning as I'd like but they are acceptable. Quality boot. You should probably try these on at a local store just to see if you like the fit, if you're able to, even though Amazon offers free return shipping should they not fit. And for those new to slip-ons like me, I have found that you need to find the smallest possible size you can jam your foot into, otherwise your foot will be too loose once it gets down into the boot and they break in.
I bought them for my man and he loves them. He always wore red wings before because they carried EEE width, but were extra heavy and lately the soles have worn out earlier than before. He said the extra wide is a little bit snug but doesn’t cause pain so is wearing them happily for half the price.
With over 30 years as an industrial electrician, in construction and maintenance, my feet have been in a lot of boots. I've tried a lot of other brands, but keep coming back to Wolverine. I have only had these for a couple weeks, but like my other Multishox boots, I find the Raiders extremely comfortable. They have excellent arch support and are snug and firm but not tight. Out of the box they slightly rubbed a bit in the toe but that went away after the first day wearing them. With a recent hurricane in our area I have spent several 14 hour days in these boots with absolutely no discomfort. I highly recommend these boots.
The actual boot size was great. Getting your foot through the boot neck where it meets the actual boot; forget it. Again, the boot itself is awesome, but definitely the leather is cut far too shallow to get a size 12 foot into the boot (it's like the chinese finger trap; can't get your foot through, can't get it out). Comparing it to my other Wolverines, the leather is definitely cut too small (about a size 10 foot to get through the 12 boot neck).
These boots are amazing. If you've owned Wolverines before, especially their Raider boot, then buy the same size in this boot. I had the laced version of the Raider boot and two years later, I still didn't need to replace them. Since my employer buys me boots I figured I'd take advantage and buy these! Great choice! I use Huberd's shoe grease every few weeks after broken in. While breaking them in I'll grease them every other day or so. Doesn't take but a few weeks to form to your foot.
