Great quality boot. Durable and comfy. Fits true to shoe size.
Been wearing these shoes for the last year for work in EMS and have been pleasantly surprised at the quality. The fit is great, with a wide toe box and secure around the heel/ankle. I’ve yet to get a blister, even while I was the breaking them in (which took about a month of daily wear and use). They are very easy to polish and keep clean. Not the lightest boot, with the majority of the weight being concentrated at the sole/midsole. Has a propensity to chip off pieces of the toe. Is not super breathable and tends to lock in smells. Never noticed any issues with the safety toe. Overall is amazing for the price, particularly the comfort. If I can ride a skateboard to work in them, handle a mile run in them, and easily manage puke in them, then I consider them to exceed my expectations.
They do tend to wear out at the steel toe if you do alot of crawling, but they handle everything, even cold weather. Very comfy right out the box. Only thing i would change is the hooks at the top of the laceup, i would replace with standard lace loops.
Provides a lot of support and fits very well to my foot. This is probably the best quality footwear I've ever bought, so I guess take that with a grain of salt. But I didn't realize how unsupported my other boots have been until wearing these for a while. Seems really sturdy too. I mainly plan of wearing these as daily shoes, with some time spent on DIY projects hence the steel toe. But it genuinely seems like the boots will last for years without using them daily for construction / hard labor. I can't speak of how they'll hold up for that though. Definitely would recommend.
I bought these for my son. He normally wears a size 11 but we had to exchange for a 10.5. He has slim feet but the 11 just seemed really big all over. The boot is really nice looking and feels high quality yet is quite affordable.
I wear them everyday for work and love them. Comfortable, sturdy and warm. I have been a repeat customer of the same boot as I wear them out. Wish they were called Buckeyes instead of Wolverines but still a great boot!
I bought these boots on October 13th and at the time was really impressed by them. They kept my feet dry even when walking through heavy water all day when my other co-workers couple hundred are boots were getting wet and they look sharp and felt really good with the insoles that I bought online for $20.On October 27th I bought another pair so that I could Wear one one day and then the next day wear the other while the previous days was drying and I then got a boot dryer so I could dry them out every night. On November 28th I decided to make an update because some things happened that changed my opinion of the boot.Heres the update "now November 28th and the oldest pair of boots already has a hole in the insole and the weather is starting to come up from the insole. "I have this toe protection glue I bought off Amazon and decided to use that to try to fix the seams on these boots to keep them going.I've done that with pretty good results as I still wear the boots everyday to work.Lately I've noticed that were the heel is in the boot has like this piece of firm hard plastic inside that is gotten bent in.Hard to explain so I'll upload a video to this review. I also post pictures of how I attempted to fix the issue of the shoe detaching from the sole.
Living on a ship aint an easy life. You must have the proper footwear or you’ll really hurt yourself. These boots do a great job and being protective looking nice and being comfortable for the price. You don’t want to go too cheap and you don’t want to be too extravagant. These boots are perfect for me. I’m glad they had size 13! Thank you!
